He reminds me of a wilderbeast with a pack of those African dogs hanging on to his every limb. Slowly but surely dragging him down. I feel a little sorry for him.
I wouldn't go that far. He comes across as an arrogant ****. But hats off to the guy for, in effect, telling the beloved media to go and fuck themselves. "Enjoy your wine and your mince pie. Bye."Just watched the interview. Van Gall spoke well with humility. As much as I've tried I just can't but like the guy.
Should have taken a leaf out of Manuel's book, 'Dead bat' ! Or just waft them away like an annoying fly !!!Kudos to LVG for his rant at the press, they've all ran stories speculating he's a dead man walking since Saturday evening. However he's still there against the wishes of the media as they love a shit storm to report on and a set of fans who don't realise where they are as a football club and feel they should be entitled to be top of the league because of what happened in the past.
You have to laugh at how they go on about the United way and getting behind the manager. 3 seasons of Pellegrini has seen 3 different managers in the hot seat at the swamp. A slight drop off in performances and the knives sharpen, if you were Jose would you go back to Madrid and have all those players at your disposal or step into the lions den with the likes of Giggs and the ticket tout working against you?
Full reaction to Van Gaal's presser here:
Have to agree, actually after watching the press conference I felt a bit sorry for him, the press in this country when they set their sights on something then they usually keep at the subject whoever it may be till they get what they (the media) want, and in van gaal's case he's now their number 1 target and will hound him until he is either sacked or resigns, they are like a pack of wolves surrounding their prey moving in for the kill, would be nice to see the tables turned on these fuckers see how they like it...He has been treated abysmally by the media.
Last season he was 10 points behind the leaders after 17 games, he's only 9 points behind this season. OK he's two positions lower but he's closer on points. Louis must stay! Louis must stay!
