"Save Our Louis"

Sometimes you've got to lose the battle to win the war, mate.

Careful what you wish for, gordon. I remember celebrating when the scum knocked Forest out of the Cup as it meant the useless jock was safe for a few weeks longer. That didn't turn out well. It's a different situation I know but them winning the Cup could spark an unwanted revival.

There are so many underlying, systemic reasons why history cannot possibly repeat itself in that sense. The footballing landscape was ripe for the taking at the dawn of the satellite TV age, which united adroitly exploited. A lot more big hitters, who aren't remotely intimidated by united's swagger, are at the party now. united used to be ahead of the game; a well oiled and well drilled machine, both on and off the pitch. They are no longer fit for purpose as an organisation. A pitifully disjointed, bloated footballing institution stumbling round like punch drunk sailor on shore leave - and them staggering to an FA Cup win isn't going to change any of that.

Silly **** is saying he doesn't want to sign anyone in January now, what's his problem? He should be telling the sheep that Bale and Tranny are signing tomorrow.

Don't worry, things have only gone quiet on the pep, tranny, bale, messi quadruple January transfer swoop because they won. Normal service will be resumed shortly. #sot
