Save Our Peg

I admire all the work that everyone has put into this campaign. Things haven’t been easy for four months now. Hopefully we can start seeing some rewards for our efforts, starting from the weekend. Come on PEG, beat them bin dipping ****s.

Peg is hanging in there thank God. It was a managerial masterstroke to describe Dalot as a brilliant prospect for United at fullback after he had been run ragged for the entire match. Peg got mostly positive coverage in the media today. Perhaps the tide has turned for our campaign.

I think he's going regardless. When it becomes impossible for them to get CL football they'll obviously sack him, but even if he does, whether its through top 4 or winning the tournament itself, I reckon he'll still leave. The board won't give him the money he wants to sign players, and he knows that will make it impossible to challenge City for the title, and the following season will just be another battle for a top 4 finish, so why stick around, especially if Real Madrid are interested? Mourinho is not a manager who builds teams, he has a peak with them, then things start to slide, and its time to leave. It was an appointment that just stank of short term thinking, with no long term plan or strategy. Someone at United must have thought, 'he's Pep's nemesis, and can challenge him', nonsense, Pep is leagues ahead of him, and Mourinho knows it, which is why he's more respectful of Pep, than in Spain. He's not catching him, so why bother?

There would have to be an available manager hovering.
LVG was massively under the cosh because Jose had thrown his hat into the ring.
Having won the FA Cup, he probably would have got another year but for Jose.
If a top manager suddenly became available, I think that would be it for Jose.
