If I take my City hat off, I actually think Mourinho is a class manager. Don't get me wrong, we have the best in the world, by some distance. But Jose's record speaks for itself.

I also fully understand why he's pissed off. Their squad is completely fucked, they have no settled centre back pairing and nobody has a clue who the best two are, it's also bloated. They have an out of form left back who looks broken and two converted, aging, fullbacks who won't be up to it this year. No proper wingers but a decent central (albiet bloated) midfield.

I seriously think to get 81 points from that squad last season was genius. It was boring tedious football but he gets results. They need at least two full backs, a centre back and two wingers at a minimum. They also need to ship about 8 or 9 out.

I think he's seen City last year buy exactly the type of players we needed (full backs, a centre back and a keeper) and he had a moan about the money we spent in those positions. He has just seen Liverpool buy exactly the type of players they were crying out for (keeper, centre back and centre mid).

He's got a completely unbalanced squad, some aging shite, young players he doesn't think are good enough (I don't either) and someone (I assume Woodward) is dropping shit loads in positions they don't need, and not competing with us or Liverpool in positions where they do.

If they had have got Van Dyke, Walker, Mendy, Salah and Sane it'd have cost them £250M.

De Gea

Walker - Bailey - VvD - Mendy

Herrera - Matic - Mata

Salah - Martial - Sane

Would take some beating.

They dropped about 175M on Pogba and Lukaku and God knows how much on Sanchez. If he's making the transfer decisions, it's his fault, I'm assuming by the moaning he's doing he's not. I'll be happy when he leaves, they won't get a better manager and nobody will win much with their squad as it is. It'll cost them about 450M to compete unless they get lucky, I don't think "the richest club in the world" have it, hence the toys being chucked out.

Hopefully he'll walk and the merry go round will continue, either way, it's funny to watch :)

If you listen to Maureen, he gives the club names and expects them to buy them for him. Much as Pep does. He has had the same time and opportunity to turn round that squad and has failed miserably. He may once have been good but I have seen nothing since 2015 to suggest he is still elite.

That’s a ridiculous statement to make:

1. Because they didn’t buy the players you mentioned. If my aunt had balls and all that.

2. PEG would never play such an attacking formation; he’s a fucking coward and even if he had those players, he would squeeze all the creativity out of them. For instance, you would never see Leroy making the sort of runs he does for Pep under the eye-gouging twat.

My point was they've squandered their money, the players I listed can be switched, those are just the types of player they needed. The formation isn't too dissimilar to his Chelsea one the first time around.

Yet he signed Baily and Lindelof.

and we signed Rodwell and co the season after we won the league, I don't think any of those that year were our first choice. I'm making an assumption he isn't happy with the players he's getting, I could well be wrong.

Duncan Castles was praising both players and telling everyone how they were top of Maureen's wishlist. He's only a mouthpiece that says what he's told to by Maureen and Mendes.

Kind of agree, depends if he's getting the players he's asking for. I just don't see how any manager of a top four club would be happy going into a new season with Young and Valencia as first choice full backs, he seems pretty pissed off, not sure why it hasn't been addressed.

Maybe. Either way their squad is nowhere near the level needed. I don't care who the manager is, they're about 6 windows behind, and that's if nobody competed for their targets and everyone else stayed still. There aren't many managers who will improve the current squad (if any). The longer recruitment is driven by shirt sales the better over in that dump :)

Some of this is his own doing though. He bought Bailley and Lindelof and doesn't trust either of them and played Smalling and Jones. Did the same with Mykiwhatshisname when he shipped him off so soon. I can see the board or Woody looking at him like why are we buying these players for you? Now you want us to buy more players who won't be good enough?

Although he has won things at Utd, a lot more than the Trophy dodger, I wont spend big, Kloppity hypokrity set of teeth at Klanfield.

They came 2nd with 81 points. They massively over achieved though. I'm expecting more like high 60's this year if nobody new comes in. The funny thing is they are going to need to replace Sanchez, Matic, Valencia and Young soon. Two of those are newish signings. I'm hoping there is nobody available and they end up paying loads for bang average players, like we've been seeing.

The fucker has had 4 windows and 300m + whatever the sweeteners for Sanchez and Big Conk were though, I agree that Woodwood is a problem but Maureen is far from the solution. Long may it last.

Yeah I think he knows himself that's the best they could do. That would be good enough for 1st in years past. That the thing though with Pep here and Klopp making big signings I think he knows deep down he can't do a whole lot better. His formula is to win against the bottom teams and try to draw against the top teams. Now more than ever there are more top teams. He can't draw against us, the dipper, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal. He needs to win them all.

So lets just all piss ourselves laughing at the SCUM eh?

Not now mate, it's late, I prefer to do it first thing in the morning after I wake up.
