Save Our Ruben Interim

If they get beat next week by a team in crisis - us - that'll be 3 consecutive Premier League defeats, which was viewed as a crisis for us. Will it be viewed the same for them, I wonder?

Knowing our luck, they'll play like prime 1970 Brazil at the Etihad next week.

He's already got directors resigning and leaving the sinking ship.
Let's see if he can last more than 5 months.

Ashworth didn’t resign, he was sacked because he didn’t want him, he wanted Southgate.

I dont understand this thread, I am sure I read on the BBC website he was "The Second Special One" :-)

It does sound like some other crisis is happening at the swamp, they can't seem to get anything right.

It seems like they just rush into everything without giving it a second thought. Like it's all spontaneous, just a reaction to what we (specifically) and others do. The most bizarre was to give Ten Bob an extension after we gave them the FA Cup. They seriously could not have taken into account his record for the past season. Even 25% Jim seemed like an afterthought.
And they must have the worst bang for bucks record when it comes to the transfer market. Who the fuck seriously gave the green light for Antony? His mum and dad? Because no one with even a basic understanding of the game would have paid what they did for him. Utterly ridiculous.

Their on-pitch performances are a reflection of what is going on in the boardroom - too many egos and too many amateurs.
