Save Our Ruben Interim

Nothing wrong with Ruben
The Swamp fans love him and rightly so.
The boos were for the Refs who didn't give the Rags there usual advantage.
In Ruben we trust. Keep the faith.
Ruben is playing a blinder. Just winning enough games to tease the fans and the media that everything is going well. Just a glimmer of hope from time to time and the media machine soon clicks into propaganda mode. Of course "its the hope that kills you."

People will take the piss but Amorim put a side on the pitch this evening that made West Ham look ordinary. If he’s given time he could really achieve big things.

West Ham are ordinary. The fact ushited couldn't beat them shows how ordinary they are.

Such an odd coach. Gets them playing better at the start of the season, but still not at a level that's going to challenge, then gets 3 PL wins out of 3 in October against Brighton, Scousers and Sunderland (so they get carried away as per). Then has a very generous fixure run from November to Dec of 10 games. 5 have been played already and he's won 1, loss 1, d3 and most are back to the very poor quality of last season. Mbuemo is a good example of their woes, he's better than whats come before him so they think he's the messiah. 5 goals after 14 games is so average it's unbeliable. Most forwards in the scoring charts covert 25% upwards of their shots, Hes on 15%. Nowhere on the top assists either. So really they've signed a player that clearly has a good work ethic but that's it. AFCON will hurt them. I genuinely think the heirachy are banking on them playing Wolves twice in December and collecting 2 wins to avoid another compensation sacking package. They have Villa and Newcastle in between the two Wolves games so it's massive pressure if they lose that next game against Wolves.

Pretty obvious now that he's hoping to get sacked. Every press conference he admits they are rubbish and there's nothing he can do about it. Even on the touchline he looks as though he's pondering whether to expand on the Greggs deliveries to keep Fatty Shaw and Mbueno happy.

Yep, thought that weeks ago but it's a bit of a mexican standoff with him not wanting to walk without the severance package and those cunts not wanting to pay it.
Tbf he's done his bit to earn a sacking. Hope he gets another season.

I wonder what he would have done with our squad. From memory (!) he was a sought after coach.

Id never really heard of mbuemo untill this season.
I watched a bit of there game on thursday.
Ive seen players in better shape play on a sunday in the taverners league in buxton.
To be fair to him while i was watching he plqyed a corner to wheelie bin teath.
He played it back and this fat arse joker had a good shot saved.
This lot are in a mess.
To be fair to ruben he been given this job somehow.
And for a bloke who has no idea about been a football manager hes doing his best.
Fair play.
Hes got a shit mid table team .
Mid table.
All is god

Wasn't there rumours that Vianna (Sporting Lisbon as well), was hoping to sign him if/when Pep leaves ?
Only from the rag top media, once we got Vianna in. His style was never going to suit us, and I highly doubt we were interested.

But they had to push that United had "stolen" him from us (despite us still having a fucking manager).

This guy was manager of the month October.
His boss scruffy Jim as gone public with his 3 year support for Ruben.
There no longer showing minus goal difference.
They no longer lose midweek games except the odd Monday.
In Ruben we trust. Keep the faith
Hopefull he gets another 200 mill to spend in January
