Ruben is playing a blinder. Just winning enough games to tease the fans and the media that everything is going well. Just a glimmer of hope from time to time and the media machine soon clicks into propaganda mode. Of course "its the hope that kills you."

Ha Ha. It doesn't take much. I remember when Amorim first turned up, that clueless Homes Under The Hammer presenter, Dion Dublin claiming that he could see an improvement already over Ten Hag. It would just be a matter of time before the players understood the system he thought.

Then recently, after the failure of Amorim's 3-3-3 system or whatever it was the rags changed the formation and got a narrow draw or win. Immediately Dublin thought there was an improvement. "Yeah, I can see what they are trying to do, it's just a matter of time before the players understand the system". Ha Ha.

Add to that a squad decimated by injuries and in transition.
