Save Our Ruben Interim

Amoron having failed with his youthful bench is now trying some more experienced players.
This is manchunited we’re talking about. ‘They track back quicker than Casemiro’ said our Ruben. He has a great point.

How do you know that?

I think it was the idiots in the media putting two and two together and making five, because we hired Hugo Viana as Txiki's successor, and they were both at Sporting.
It was a sarcasm aimed at those idiots who said it and lapped it up. :)

We need to regroup blues and remember what this thread is all about, let's really get behind this master tactician who is let down by the players and board.

The dirty smear merchants are out in force besmirching his name when he's got so much against him, nobody since gpc has done owt for them so how can he be expected to work miracles?

He can still possibly be an all time great Interim if they back him, he clearly just needs more time he unquestionably has it all as a manager.

Shame on Football Joe for posting this.

I was just about to defend you then compliment you. People keep forgetting the theme if this thread. Obviously we all hate anything to do with them. But this thread is about praising the manager who beat the current champions and didn't lose to Arsenal, Dippers and Fulham (no mugs) stick with the tramps plan and trust in Ruben. CTID

I cannot and will not ever have one iota of sympathy for that club or its fans. I loathe the colour red, I detest the word 'united', and I find their hordes of plastic fans an absolute affront to common decency.
As a kid in the playground at school I would pretend to be Ken Mulhearn (ask your parents!), and if an opposing player was a plastic rag I would warn him not to try and score past me or I'd pummel the little fucker into a coma (what a lovely kid I must have been). Other kids that were Arsenal or Chelsea fans would score past me and I wouldn't be too bothered, but woe betide any junior rag.
So even at that tender age I had a deep-rooted hatred for anything or anyone affiliated with that club. A primary school kid with an intense, almost psychotic anger towards any schoolmate who even dared to joke about following that foul disease from Trafford that calls itself a football club.

Fast forward many many years. I'm an old, overweight, balding, mess of a human being: a broken marriage and an unhealthy fixation with playing the guitar and indulging my fondness for booze-filled giggling fits and sherbet fountains (and The Beatles). But my dislike of that one bastard club is as deep and as intense as it was all those years ago when all I wanted was to score the winning goal for City in an FA Cup Final, and kiss Hayley Mills, as she was in 'Whistle Down The Wind'.
are you Mike Doyle's love-child?

can't help looking at that picture and laughing when I remember the article written about amorin and pep feeling like the bloke who's new neighbour had just moved in next door and was younger better looking and drove a sports car my God the English press are a joke
English press/media can’t help themselves,a bit like the article when mourinho took over at the rags that pep would be wishing to rip his contract up ..

You’ve just described 73% of Blue Moon regulars!

Fuckin clowns - by Shits Inc
(A song for our Ruben Interim)

Gotta make a move to a team that's right for me
Team that keeps on movin'
Keeps on movin in my 3-4-3

Well, I talk about it, talk about it,
Talk about it, talk about shit
Talk about, talk about
Talk about losin'

Gotta move on
Gotta move on
Gotta move on

Won't you take me to?
Back to Lisbon now?
Won't you take me from?
All these red clowns?
Won't you take me to?
To Lisbon now?

Gotta make a move from a team that's wrong for me
Team that keeps on losin'
Keeps on losing in my 3-4-3

Well, I talk about it,
Talk about it, talk about shit
Talk about, talk about losin'

We're off to League One
And Rashford's moved on
Gotta move on..

(Clearly a 59 year old man had nowt better to do at 130am)

I genuinely can't believe they're calling for Amorim's head already. I think a serious shift of focus is needed, clearly it can't be the fault of manager after manager, especially as some of those have been trophy winners literally just prior to rolling up at united, so I think they really have to accept that relegation is what the club actually needs.

If that means they have to throw a few games to ensure they finish in the bottom three then the fans should get onboard. Once on the championship, Amorim and the quality of player they have will storm to the league title, restoring the confidence they need to mount a serious title challenge in 2026/27.

They can't just keep sacking managers, and they have to be wondering why such expensive, sought after players turn to drivel as soon as they put on the red kit. They have to try something different, relegation worked for City, worked for Villa, and we certainly didn't have a manager of the caliber of Amorim or players or the quality of De Light and, erm, someone else.

Relegation is the way forward. Take a hit now to be reborn the Phoenix, as much as it may hurt just take the next exit from the premier league and pull off in to paradise. Plus, the wave of national euphoria at their inevitable promotion again means the government couldn't possibly deny funds for a new stadium, they could discover the best players in the lower leagues by playing them each week, and even have a chance to win a trophy or two that they've not won before.

The #save campaigns aren't really necessary now.

When they started the rags were still hanging around as a bit of a bad smell/threat and various managers COULD have come in and improved them.

They've gone past that place now so with the state of their finances and squad it doesn't really matter who is manager, the important things are UMS & TSO stay there and not get some idiot to buy them out.

No fucking about now blues. We got to do better than Erik.

Fully behind Amoron even if relegated.

Not point not backing these top managers. He needs time to find 3 defenders who can play in a 3.

He needs money to spend.

Just leave him alone.
You're wasting your time. There's been a dreadful apathy on here re our various campaigns down the years. I don't know why; perhaps they want the rags to get a decent manager.
