Savic has been getting loads of stick in recent weeks, but IMO a little harshly, Bobby bought him as a work in progress, and i can honestly see why. The kid has everything(except experience) pace, tackle, heading, bravery and he can bring the ball out and play, he's been thrown in at the deep end and while some players thrive on that he's made a few mistakes, most of them have been covered by Hart or Lescott but some have cost us. Lets just remember he is young and could be a city legend, i know we can buy the best but i feel he can get to the top with city!

He's shit & always will be get rid of him now. I was going to say a disaster waiting to happen but it already has. A pen that was needless. A pathetic back header & he did'nt even try to get back. He stood & watched it. At 21 he should be showing promise, but not this clown.

Still a newbie around here but I completely agree. The amount of stick Savic got on twitter during the Liverpool game was unbelievable! Give him time and more games and this lad will be brilliant.

World class is a stretch, sometimes his control, passing and technique look very good other times he looks like a scared kid and his ability utterly abandons him. To early to write him off though I don't think he'll ever be world class I just can't see him developing the pace and power that a Vincent Kompany has.

I can see Savic and Vinnie as a match made in heaven, give it 3/4 years and they will be perfect for each other! With Savic as the calmer and classier of the pair!

Savic will become a good player, never world class player. The likes of Smallings who is same age is already much better. The thing with Savic is he doesnt have the physical attributes that can cover some of his weakness. So he needs to become a genius in terms of reading the game as he's not that quick or good in the air

One year out on loan. He needs that. Too risky to make his "learning curve mistakes" here.
Even Zinedine Cleverley spent a year at Wigan. Johnny "next Vidic" Evans same at Sunderland. Pelé Welbeck also.
So Rocky Balboa Savic shouldnt be different.
