The 3 centre backs we signed in January for a start one never plays and two are out on loanWhich bad signings are hampering a rebuild?

3 centre backs that are part of the rebuild and the future squad are blocking the rebuild even though 2 are on loan, yes right. The 3 centre backs we signed in January for a start one never plays and two are out on loan
We need a rebuild now not in the future spend the money what it cost for the 3 of them on 1 proven player ready to play in the first 113 centre backs that are part of the rebuild and the future squad are blocking the rebuild even though 2 are on loan, yes right.
Not to be pedantic, but using wagyu to make a burger is the definition of a waste of money. It’s all down to the quality brought in. Doesn’t matter how much you spend if the quality isn’t improved.
Fifty boxes of supermarket burgers will not improve the quality of a meal the same as one £120 wagyu steak. For some reason we keep buying supermarket players and leaving the top quality to Liverpool and Arsenal.
We’ve spent money, just quite poorly. Just one of Declan Rice, Marc Guehi or Wirtz would have made us a better team than all our January panic buys.
We need a planned rebuild that's fror the next 5 year plus , not an I want now with expensive shiny toys rebuild, we aren't united. We need a rebuild now not in the future spend the money what it cost for the 3 of them on 1 proven player ready to play in the first 11
So what do we do in those 5 years stop competing for titles and fall down the leagueWe need a planned rebuild that's fror the next 5 year plus , not an I want now with expensive shiny toys rebuild, we aren't united.
No we have enough to compete, might even win it. We do exactly what we did when Pep first came we compete bulild the team win things along the way and hopefully in 3 or 4 years we have grown enough to compete for a treble again. You can like or don't it myself I'm excited to see how this new era evovles and grows. If you want is big expensive signings and us to be an instant treble challenging team well that's tough ,not happening isn't how City work.So what do we do in those 5 years stop competing for titles and fall down the league
Surely not a coincidence, as both are potentially top classDoku and Savinho - oh great. Coincidence? Perhaps.

While you have a valid point about things taking time, the volume of players bought in, in such a short time frame suggests we were in a right mess. Additionally, despite all of the incomings, we still have question marks at goalkeeper, right back, midfield, left and possibly right wing despite all of the arrivals!!This is only a problem if you think City had a pot of money in December and used it on players for the future instead of reinforcing the team now.
There's no reason to think we're out of money to sign new players, if anything the problem seems to be there just isn't anyone available to replace Walker. Livramento was probably the closest, but Newcastle said he wasn't for sale.
So far this year we've brought in Marmoush, Khusanov, Ait-Nouri, Reijnders, Gonzalez, Trafford & Cherki for the fist team squad. The current 23 has been reinforced, it's just going to take a while for those players to knit with the rest of the squad, learn Pep's system and start delivering their best football.
Also, that's 1/3 of the squad that's joined the club in 2025. After a certain amount of squad turnover, you're eroding the team cohesion.
Like potentially top class Buster Phillips.Surely not a coincidence, as both are potentially top class
Which ones?Simons to Spurs
Think we already are mate . Tbh we are a mile away from winning the title this season and I’d be happy with top 4So what do we do in those 5 years stop competing for titles and fall down the league
Like this ?
Rice didn’t want City. Wirtz didn’t want City. Guehi doesn’t want City.
Given that’s true, there’s not really a lot you can do about it.
Which bad signings are hampering a rebuild?
So now you’ve changed your argument, okay.I’d rather he scored more goals than just one you tube fluke. He’s mostly ineffective.
by sounds you wont have to wait too long for DOF job when we get shut of present oneWe need a rebuild now not in the future spend the money what it cost for the 3 of them on 1 proven player ready to play in the first 11
you dont realise what you had until its gone. I used to be in the FFS Mahrez camp to be honest but compared to what we have now, would rip your arm off for the Mahrez that we had back here at us, our winger output is terrible and not sure it gets better to be honest as back in the day there was more space for the wingers but also prime KDB and Merlin feeding them?
