Savinho is leaving for more money and also the perception that with Cherki and Echeverri arriving not to mention Foden, Doku Bobb and Marmoush that he might struggle for game time. Probably correct.

Most people seem to be choosing a front 3 of Marmoush Haaland and either Foden or Cherki.

If Rodrygo arrives for around 100m he will become like Haaland a shoe in. Possibly at Marmoush or Foden's expense.

This would be a mistake. We don't need to replace Savinho. As it stands he's a sub.

Money better spent elsewhere on the pitch.

Spurs have signed Kudus this summer, who I expect will play on the right, so Savinho may go to the left wing where he had success with Girona. That in itself could possibly play a part in him wanting to go.

If we're playing 4 attackers a game we definitely need more than Doku, Bobb, Cherki, Haaland, Marmoush, Foden. One injury and we've only got one impact sub - not long till its Bernardo on the wing on again.

Think we'll play 4-2-3-1 with Cherki, Foden or even Bobb rotating at 10, leaving less depth on the wings. Be interesting to see for sure.

Yeah, I’m all for fleecing spurs but we need to be careful here and make sure we don’t overdo it. I agree with you on fee, but I think like the Newcastle to liverpool transfer, it won’t happen till after the two clubs play each other next weekend.

Not about the money and reinvesting , more about squad places and if we only had space for 1 in place of Savinho and as yet we don’t even if he leaves, I’d go right back. Only think about another midfielder if Kovacic and Gundogan went too .

If any deal goes through with Spurs this week, I suspect it will happen so late that the player won’t be involved in next weekend’s fixture.
