I dont see how he can now? How many other players have trained,played while being strongly linked with moves away and still turn up to the club when injured? Savinho though is staying at home doing gym work while according to Pep being injured? Come on mate, he`s obviously upset and Pep isnt having it so his move is being sorted and hes ticking over away from the group.

I suspect that Doku's main job is to attact defenders towards him in order to allow space for others to drive into the box.

So while it looks like he is ineffective it really depends on the wider picture.

It'll be interesting to see how Doku does this year in terms of his goals and assists versus his contribution to scoring opportunities.

At least he is unique. Whereas Savinho and Bobb seem very alike. But I'd still be happy to keep Savinho if a move never materialises.

I'll lose no sleep if Savinho goes to Spurs, like I didn't when Alvarez left and even when Sanè left, although I was disappointed when he left.

I want players who want to be here and wear our shirt with pride. I want to see our players shed blood sweat and tears and be mentally strong under pressure. I want players to build up affinity with City fans and be endearing.

I don't see any of those qualities in Savinho. I'll lose no sleep if he goes to Spurs, like I said.

I also think Eze would be a very positive move. Familiar with the PL, great scorer and probably well able to play multiple roles.

The big thing that I sort of want (though risky) from Rodrigo though is an ego that challenges Pep when his tactics are just not effective. I know its dangerous but having someone tell the emperor that he's got no clothes on might be good if we the rest are too scared. Remember that for the first 20 mins Saturday we were just as predictable as last season. We need some one to say fuck that but have the ability to actually change it on the pitch in a moment.

Not sure Eze is that arrogant (which to be fair to the boy is more often a good thing).
 
I think if we reject Tottenham next bid it could get ugly. I still maintain I think Savinho pushes this not an Isak situation but similar.
 
It’s clearly an open secret that we are willing to let Savinho go for the right amount of money. What is interesting though is that despite this, and some people claiming that Savinho is this great player, only Spurs are interested. Not Real Madrid, not Barcelona, not Liverpool, not Chelsea, not Arsenal, not PSG, etc. If he was going to be such a big loss you’d expect those at the top table to be linked with him but none of them are…
 
I wonder if Spurs aren't offering what they know we'll accept for Savinho until after they sign Eze? That ensures the get both.

Spurs are looking for that type of player.

Arsenal want a winger to replace Martinelli/Trossard.
Real Madrid want a right winger
Liverpool are looking for an attacker
Barcelona If they wanted him they could have got another financial lever haha
Chelsea just like buying players and still don’t want him hahahaha
