Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Personally a player who was happy to leave City and sign for Spurs is not for me especially after being given so much game time. Makes me question he has the fight in him to go toe to toe with Bobb, Foden, Cherki, etc. If this is true and he is to stay I hope he proves me wrong and becomes the player many on here see.

ballague has often tried to position himself as a bit of an expert on Pep but I’m not sure how reliable he has ever proven to be.

Sure romano will either agree or contradict him soon enough...

Maybe we were priced out of the Rodrygo deal
Maybe but clear the player still wants to go.

We don’t freeze players out, it just feels like another negotiation tactic for some reason.

I expect there to be more too this.

If Sav did stay I’d be happy, he’s a good player and loads of potential. I feel like he’s at the bottom of the pecking order though. Bobb clearly favoured out of the two.

Not sure how Balague would have this info first to be honest as he isnt close to being first out with anything else?

Balague is less reliable than Indykaila these days. Be very surprised.

He's mentally gone already.
Yeah. Pep said about creating a bad dressing room atmosphere in regards to players not getting minutes.

Maybe he feels that was an issue last year, maybe not and just a general belief.

I’d be amazed if he stays. More likely sold and not replaced than not sold on my opinion.

Pay us more money.

If we are seen to be wanting Rodrygo it’s almost a sign of weakness and spurs may think they have an advantage on the fact we want a player but Sav has to go.

Every credible source said a 3rd Spurs bid was coming in, they haven’t been wrong about much of the deal so far.

I would be very surprised if Balague has the inside scoop on this, but I do think we have priced Spurs out of the deal.

When you started seeing figures for €70m-€80m, it was inevitable Spurs were going to call it a day.

I do think Savinho will push for a move. I just cannot see him being a regular once Foden gets back because I think Foden rotates with Bobb on the right wing.

It’s clearly solid from Balague imo I know he talks bollocks at times but I reckon this is good info.

Don’t buy that it was city’s decision as such though , either spurs wouldn’t pay up or Rodrygo price was too high / he said no.
