Is upto the player to prove he deserves high wages. I don't think it's a bad thing keeping him. He's only 21 and if he wants first team football he has to improve. Rodrygo would instantly walk into our squad and demand to play.

Yea I get that. He just repeats himself every day, it’s just that he was being consistent with what he said about this. I do think someone at City is giving him a steer at times though he’s been mainly ahead of the rest this summer.

You can say that about anyone, there's no guarantee Rodri will stay fit all season.

I personally think Savinho is a more technical Footballer than Rodrygo without the end product. You just have to look at the stats, the only metric he doesn't better Rodrygo on is goals. Rodrygo does have more end product, but he 3-4 years older and has had time to develop at Madrid. People are going on about Rodrygo as if he's Vinicius Jr or Mbappe. He isn't that level. He's never been a player that's scored the amount they have.
 
Feel like this will pick up after the Spurs game. I am indifferent whether we keep or sell him. I am a fan of Savio and feel like he can develop into a great player but also realize he isn't a difference maker at this point.

I also agree with Pep in not keeping players that don't want to be here (not sure if that's truly the case) but the offer has to be big if we spell especially to Tottenham. That owner never does us any favors so take him to the cleaners.
 
Tottenham will be desperate now, 3 main targets not coming in, they will comeback for Sav as Frank will want one of his targets. They will pay what we want
 
I'd not mind Eze actually if Savinho left. Added bonus would be stealing him from Arsenal.

But then would Rodrygo go to Arsenal or would he be too much for them to afford. Especially given the fact that they've already spend about 200M this window.
 
Is Sav actually injured or not? Pep saying he is out for a few weeks is strange if he isn’t….he could have said a few days instead.
