Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

There has been nothing to suggest spurs ever offered 70m, that we would have turned down. Lots of expectation that they are prepared to supposedly. But no real offer has ever been reported on.

As much as I don't rate him as a player, this definitely feels like an agent/ media driven transfer. Wouldn't suprise me if Savinho is more than happy here, but his agent as been touting him around and Spurs had a little nibble and no more. Certainly not at the figures quoted.

It's a big risk turning down 70 million for a player that got 1 goal in the prem. He's still young so can improve.

This could go two ways he either knuckles down and improves. Or the fact we haven't let him go he throws a strop and doesn't show up.

Very nice?? IF Cherki produces, and IF Foden remembers how to play football, they aren't a problem.......but if they're the 4 we're relying on for the wide positions, then a RB is the least of our problems.....we haven't been that weak on the wings for 15yrs.
