Savinho - 19 G/A (23/24)
Cherki - 19 G/A (24/25)
Foden - 27 G/A (23/24)
Doku - 13 G/A (23/24)
Marmoush - 34 G/A (24/25)

That's just league stats. They're fully capable. It depends how slow we are in transition and how reliant we are on Haaland being the focal point of every move.
 
I'm certainly not convinced about Savinho, but he is undoubtedly a big talent. The issue is that we need wingers that can deliver goals NOW, not perhaps maybe a few years from now if their potential is reached.
Looks like he is staying so now all we can do is hope he will have a strong second season and start contributing goals as well.

Big call from Viana to turn big bids down for a 1 league goal in 29 winger, could look genius or foolish a year from now, lets hope for the best.

Savinho is supposed to be Neymar. When you ask some of them they can’t name 1 winger better than him at his age and position. Quite weird. The mahrez comparisons are funny too considering mahrez was in ligue 2 when he was 21
 
Was always pretty indifferent about the whole Rodrygo/Savinho situation but glad we have closure.

Hopefully knuckles down now and shows us what he’s about this season. Think a lot on here tend to forget he’s literally younger than Bobb so bags of improvement still to come from him.

Just hope his heads in it and he didn’t have his mind dead set on a move, but can’t see the club effectively blocking a move if that was the case tbh. We don’t keep players who aren’t happy being here and think we’d have let him go if he was genuinely agitating for a move.

Romano posting about this pretty much daily for the past few weeks has added more to this saga than I think there ever truly was tbh.

Hopefully we see a little more from him next season and a few more goals but there are more players than not that don’t really score consistently until they reach 23 /24 Salah, Mahrez to name 2 so shouldn’t expect his peak yet.
 
I wanna know about these goal scoring wingers on the market. Can someone name them? Available and top class wingers that look like they can score 10-15 a season in the league only. I think the board looked up everywhere and realized it make sense to go with Doku and savinho. Spurs paying 70M for savinho says it all. They aren’t that man goalscoring wingers out there. PSG literally got half of them.
Also our current system isn’t set up for the wingers it’s set up that we always pass to Haaland.

OVERLAPPING FULLBACKS and a faster approach and those 2 will play better. Rodrygo wasn’t and isn’t a right wing and would expect 8times the wages of savinho + he isn’t better. It’s all Madrid PR. Worst player on the pitch against a team that might not even make the championship .
 
The biggest thing for me is that this saga is over. We can put it to bed, get Savinho back in the squad and focus on other priorities, like moving on Gundogan, Akanji, Phillips and Ortega. If we can shift those four then we have space for a RB of any nationality. Whilst I think it’s unlikely we bring one in, it at least becomes a possibility. The Ederson-Donnarumma saga doesn't bother me too much because it takes care of itself and can be resolved in relatively little time. The only other mooted departure is Ake but I think this won't happen.
 
He’ll be getting sent out on loan to anyone who’ll take him with city paying half his wages in a couple of seasons
