Not accepting £60m sums up our window. Hes a lightweight in an increasingly lightweight squad.
What would we have done with the £60m? I think we are better off with him if there was no one significantly better to replace him.Not accepting £60m sums up our window. Hes a lightweight in an increasingly lightweight squad.
I wouldn't be surprised if Levy fucked the deal by wanting it spread out to him paying a fiver a week. Not accepting £60m sums up our window. Hes a lightweight in an increasingly lightweight squad.
We shouldn't really sell talented 20 year olds because they are lighweight. They all are except very fewNot accepting £60m sums up our window. Hes a lightweight in an increasingly lightweight squad.
22 isnt that young in sports anymore, messi won ballon dor at that age , yamal was ripping defenders apart at 17 in the biggest stages in the world.yes, they are generational talents, but not lets pretend that every 22 year old is young and have years to improve , most of them probably wont.Doku hasnt improve in anything he does imo.We shouldn't really sell talented 20 year olds because they are lighweight. Also I'd be wary of wanting young talent gone because the rest of of the options aren't good enough. Young players like Savio (and Bobb considering he lost a season to injury) is just supposed to look good in flashes as they have done. Currently they both get wildly criticised by our fanbase because they get lumped in with the problem we have with our two more experienced wingers in Doku (2 full seasons now) and Marmoush (26 years of age, massive money) fails to move the needle
Maybe people would have wanted to sell Foden as well if he broke through now
And let's not pretend that you have to be the finished product at 22 to have any hope of being a top player.22 isnt that young in sports anymore, messi won ballon dor at that age , yamal was ripping defenders apart at 17 in the biggest stages in the world.yes, they are generational talents, but not lets pretend that every 22 year old is young and have years to improve , most of them probably wont.Doku hasnt improve in anything he does imo.
I hope we told him to go fuck himself mate. We should never deal with that **** again.I wouldn't be surprised if Levy fucked the deal by wanting it spread out to him paying a fiver a week.

Savio was 20 for the majority of last season, will be 21 for the majority of this and shown enough end product with his assisting to understand that there is basis for a top player here. Agree about Doku, Savio is not at the same crossroad as him yet22 isnt that young in sports anymore, messi won ballon dor at that age , yamal was ripping defenders apart at 17 in the biggest stages in the world.yes, they are generational talents, but not lets pretend that every 22 year old is young and have years to improve , most of them probably wont.Doku hasnt improve in anything he does imo.

This is going to be one of those adverts on the radio soon.....What have you (honestly) seen in £116m Wirtz? I haven’t seen anything yet.
Don´t think waiting for 3 21-22 year old wingers to get good some day is not the way forward. There should be minimum 1 winger who is very good or near world class player. And let's not pretend that you have to be the finished product at 22 to have any hope of being a top player.
Yes. Ian Wright didn't make it at Palace till he was 28.And let's not pretend that you have to be the finished product at 22 to have any hope of being a top player.
Why are people so heated about how we should have accepted the offer for him, it's not as if we'd have used the money and bought someone else to replace him.
Wright signed for Palace when we was 21, Made nearly 300 appearances and signed for Arsenal at 27?Yes. Ian Wright didn't make it at Palace till he was 28.
Was there one on the market ?Don´t think waiting for 3 21-22 year old wingers to get good some day is not the way forward. There should be minimum 1 winger who is very good or near world class player.
I’ve seen him get bullied like a little boy by Bournemouth and Le arse…What have you (honestly) seen in £116m Wirtz? I haven’t seen anything yet.
