Take some info from other players’ first season at City instead…Worth noting Phil was gash last season and missed half of it through injury, KDB was even worse, Bernado is a shadow of his former self and 90% of the forum crowd when we saw Gundogan in the starting line up.
Savinho got more assists in his first season at City as a 20 year old than De Bruyne did in his first season at City as a 24 year old and than DSilva did in his first season at City as a 24 year old.
He needs to get in the gym to increase his strength and change his confidence in his own strength as he gets older (he is a bit lightweight and a bit soft), but he had a good creative first season as a 20 year old at City.

Most of us must have watched a different game.He played fine. Some of you are ridiculous.
He offered absolutely nothing going forward or defensively.
He's an absolute fanny.
Looks like a crazy decision to give him an improved deal. He sums up the drop off in quality from the team of 2 years ago. The sight of him jogging over to try and close their fullback down when we are just 1-0 up tells me a lot about his nature. He also offered the square root of fuck all going forward and was often just looking for a foul or passing back.
Not a player I can root for at all - but what do I know. Would rather see Cherki given at least some time - at least we, like him don't know what may happen and that is far more exciting than seeing this fanny wipe.
Happy with the win but he is like a Chloe Kelly of the mens game - got skill but loves themselves over the team being dominant via hard work.

The difference is we knew Mahrez was a quality, proven player that would come good - and did.

Even if that's your opinion, it was one game for a young player who hasn't had much, or any, of a pre-season. He'll be fine.He was piss poor mate

He was shite. How have we given this dude an improved contract he’s shown rare flashes there’s a player in there but an improved contract has not been earned on the pitch that’s for sure. Should have jumped ar that Spurs offer
