You have too laugh. We take a chance on a Brazilian kid, pay good money and bring him in. He doesn't look comfortable - so we place him in Spain and he bombs. So we send him to a Brazilian club, he gets injured so we basically give him to the club (cancelled his contract so he could join). We suck up the loss but the kid got a chance some will never get. (Kaky)

CFG take a chance on another Brazilian kid but at the outset he doesn't seem as much as a 'cert' so is signed to a group club and loaned out to PSV who doesn't really fancy him and don't really play him - they obviously didn't see the potential. He lands at Girona and starts to play well.

You pays your money and you takes your chance. Some come off, so don't - and there are a few.

Athletico Minero win (12'5%) and Troyes get the rest. Everyone wins IF he makes it with us.

Don't know why they think there is anything to get upset about - it's been going on for years at Red Bull and Chelsea and Barca probably. If the PL can guarantee he will be as successful as Palmer we could pay 40m - if he turns out to be as good as Bojinov - we will pay 10m.

If they spent as much time on running their own business as they spend interfering in ours, they wouldn't have so many problems (PL).

Yes but then the redshirt clubs plus Spurs would be moaning to them because they wouldn't be as successful as us, but would have nobody to carry out their dirty work for them.

Love the Player. I just wonder where he fits.

We have Doku, Foden, Silva, Grealish, and Bobb all of whom can play on the wing. All of them have pretty clear positions in the squad. Doku and Foden are obviously not going anywhere.

Bernardo does have the release clause and may make the jump this summer. But he also covers a CM role as well, which I don't think Savio does.

There were some Whispers about Bobb Potentially leaving this summer, but I don't see us paying upwards of 40 Million for a guy who is on the border of the squad.

It does make me wonder a bit about Grealish.
Jack's rarely been on it this season, & albeit Doku can be a bit hit & miss & is defensively woeful, by comparison both he & Bobb are offering us more when they play than Jack.

I always though Grealish would be better suited centrally, but even then ahead of whom based on current form.

He drank himself to a standstill in the summer & seems unable to get up to speed & motoring to the effective level we need.

He's our most expensive asset & the way this season's panned out for him so far is very concerning.

Dunno about the training ground rumours, but stomping his feet for more game-time won't work with Pep. Jack's gotta earn his opportunities like everyone else.

I think Bobb is more likely to go the way of Palmer than Foden. We are in the market for a winger and already bought Doku, whilst having Foden and Grealish too. It’ll prove too tough for Bobb imo, he won’t get the chances barring injuries. It’ll pain me as I think he’s class. But for the club it’s straight profit on the P&L
I respectfully disagree. Pep's already said that Bobb can play on either wing, as a striker or as a No 10.

He's 21 this summer & imho has shown more than enough to stay here & challenge for a spot in the not too distant future. Bobb & Doku on either wing could develop into a frightening prospect for the opposition.

With Hamilton coming through, rumours of Savio & Foden making it clear he prefers to play centrally, I've no idea where this leaves Grealish, unless he gets back to the form he showed 12 months ago.

He’s not our most expensive asset anymore. His book value is £40m in the summer.

He is a streaky player that needs to play all the time to keep his rhythm high. The catch 22 is that Pep prefers to rotate until the final stage of the season. If Grealish gets a start and excels, then he might get the run of games he needs to keep his level high.

I wonder if we are buying just to secure him now and then keep him on loan for another year at Girona?
I've only seen clips of Savio, but from what I've seen of him he's not at our level. I can see us buying him to secure his services, but leaving him on loan at Girona for a season or two.

I can't see him starting out wide ahead of Doku, Bobb, Silva, Foden or even Grealish at this stage.

He’s got a better cross/pass into the box than all of the above.

It depends on what Pep wants for next season.

Your probably right to be honest, I think he's fucking shite, would much rather have doku/savio/bobb out on the wing.
But as has been said no one is going to give us anywhere near a decent amount for him.
I only really understood Grealish when drilling down into his stats.

When on form & not recovering from a hangover, he's the undisputed king of assisting the assister. Because he's mot providing the final assist & doesn't score loads, his other work tends to go unnoticed.

However, I can't deny that both Doku & Bobb have offered more danger, threat & jeopardy this season than Grealish.

One thing I find odd is Grealish claims Pep's told him to hold onto possession at all costs, which Jack says has curbed his natural attacking instincts. However Pep told Doku to go for it in attack & not to worry about it not coming off.

The different directives are baffling to say the least.

Our most expensive purchase then. \0/

Few understood why I was so pissed with Jack's conduct at the end of last season, but the predicted effects of six weeks of solid boozing are horribly developing before our eyes.

As for Savio, I've not seen enough of him outside of highlight reels to make a proper judgement. From the bits I've seen, I don't think he's up to our standard, hence why at best I think if we do buy him, he'll remain with Girona for a season or two.
