Only partly - last season they were p;laying well in the league and the Europa - this season they have been shite in the league but doing well in the Europa - bit like Murderpool

apologies that the facts say that Fulham are doing a better job at a competition than we did when we had massively more resources.

In fact if it wasn't for our summer spending spree we'd certainly be below them in the table.

So if we hadn't bought new players we'd still be a lower mid table team? Your analysis is razor sharp I have to say. If Fulham hadn't been bought by a rich guy all those years ago where would they be? If Colonel Saunders had been Russian we'd all be eating borsch. If frogs had evolved with bigger brains and wings they'd be ruling the world now.

We have a much better team than last season and if we played Hamburg now would put up a much better fight. But such is our progress over the past year we know have higher targets to aim for than the Europa League.

No comparison. A team that can only draw 0-0 at home to Fulham can't be up to much. We had a brilliant game against them at CoMS but only just nicked the home leg. (Despite the first goal fiasco). Let's see what happens at The Cottage. Expect Fulham to prevail but they don't have as much to beat as we did.
