Scapuzzi and Mancini join latics on loan

Mancini no problem with the loan but Scapuzzi I don't understand. He played well in the Carling Cup and surely it would be more beneficial for him to stay around the squad and play against Arsenal in the Quarter Finals?
I feel we loan far to many players out at times.

I feel we loan far to many players out at times.
The players we loan out aren't good enough to get regular football with us, and a lot of the players we loan out aren't even good enough to play bit part football. The idea is to advertise them (in a Carling Cup game for example), send them out on loan so they can get some form of match fitness and a bit of experience, then when they come back they can possibly be introduced into the first team. As well as Scapuzzi played against Wolves, he is nowhere near ready for the first team.
