Scariest/best horror film you have watched

Theres an 80s horror film that scared the shit out of me, my cousin was well into his "video nasty" stuff. All i can remember is at the end the person who is meant to be a young girl is stood there screaming, covered in blood and its revealed "she" has a cock and has been raised as a girl. It will be nothing now im sure but that image stuck with me when i was about 7

The Changeling with George c scott.
Martyrs.
Suspiria.

but theres a 1990 tv movie called The Haunted that is the only film since i was a kid to genuinly freak me out.had some angry ghost shoutin on a tape recorder.check it out.

Top of the list has to be Suspiria, unfortunately the dubbed soundtrack doesn't stand up too well after all these years, but the suspense, and music do.
