I will take that bet if it includes the European nations League?
You’re on. It needs to be index linked because I have a fear post Brexit we will be trading in salt. :)

Excellent as I could do with some Ryanair tokens this summer shortly after we win the Nations league as a precursor to our Nations cup win at Wembley in 2020....Foden getting the winner.
It’s a bit early to be sniffing glue, but fair play to you. :)
>> He should stick with decission. Thems the rules. It wasn't a clear and obvious error either.
And yet video replay wasn't available. How on earth should the onfield ref muster the audacity to completely disregard the replay booth when they had ample replays available to them.
I for one, absolutely agree that Otters hand ball is a penalty - on the basis that that's the way that the game is called - at the same time I absolutely agree that Otter's hand ball was not intentional.
The rules of the game need to be updated.

>> 2nd, offside takes presidente as that took place first.
Implicitly claiming that you're more knowledgeable than the professional referees on the field... well, I rather doubt that you're correct.
Seems to be a bit confused...I’m not sure you necessarily understand the rules then, mate. Hand ball has to be deliberate for it to be considered an offence.
If you don’t think Otamendi was deliberately seeking an advantage by having his arm in the position it was in, then by the rules of the game, you don’t think it should be a pen.
You may mock, however do enjoy Scotlands 3rd place play off match against the Isle of Man in the Doris McTwee memorial curling cup in Stranraer whislt we give those bloody foreigners a jolly good seeing too!
You are embarrassing in the match threads, give your head a wobble ffs
Makes no difference whether he’s the captain or not. They have no more right to talk to the ref on behalf of their teammates than anyone else.Just watching the re-run and there was a foul on Sterling after 5 minutes that was given but no card. It was almost identical to the one Otamendi got his second yellow for.
And how Caligiuri, who wasn't captain, didn't get carded for constantly being in the ref's face I'll never know. Made Rooney look discreet.
Fuck `em mc.I had a look on the RAWK CL thread this morning.
Fuck - but they really hate us
What is piss funny is that they scream that nobody should be bothered or care about us - especially them as they are a proper club with history
And they make these comments in pages and pages of bitter posts
Drink it in...
i bow to your knowledgeThis is taken from the rule book.....The VAR will only intervene if he thinks the referee has missed a direct red card offence, not a yellow or second yellow. However, there are three instances when the VAR can advise a referee to issue a caution. 1) If, on reviewing a penalty it turns out there is simulation. 2) If, on reviewing an awarded goal, it turns out a player has deliberately handled the ball to score. 3) If, in dismissing a player, it is proved they have been provoked into retaliating, the player who initiated the incident could get booked.
Otamendi committed a handball. He tried to get his arm out of the way but didn’t succeed. If the exact same happened to us at the other end of the pitch we’d be screaming for a penalty. Anyone who argues differently is an out and out happy clapper.
So just reading Mark Halsey’s view On the incident in the paper at work
He says no way was the handball deliberate and he would not have given it
