As much as I hate scholes he has made quiet a valid point here,all teams we've visited in champions league haven't only had big crowds but intimadting ones aswell,dortmund,Naples,Munich,bernabeu,camp nous and no one can deny the reality how bigger part it plays
We've had threads on bm about the atmosphere in games for a reason,may be there is something wrong ,and it evident that crowds didn't helped against Roma
Argument is often given that these are multi millionaire footballers they shouldnt need motivation which is completely absurd ,which means its us who think of players as mercernaries who should just do the job because they get paid good money

I think the atmosphere at a lot of these other grounds you mention is overrated. Bayern have a pack of cheerleaders behind one goal led by a dick with a microphone. The rest of the ground sat in total silence as they often do in Germany.

The atmosphere at Bayern, Real Madrid, and Barca was nothing to write home about. But Poznan and Salonika were fantastic. The Champions League is a corporate, plastic experience wherever it is played.

not a fucking chance they knew what they was doing its was sorted by the (clubscum) media team to undermined Manchester city football club with dirty cheap tricks why else would you have somebody from united on a champions league night at man city

simple things like sound mic's turned up at the away fans counting the empty seats having a pop at city fans not turning up on the biggest nights saying you don't know what you have here nothing but crap after crap they even said united Liverpool would have sold out on nights like this how bad can it get for a main English tv company(ITV) to slag 1 of the English champions on a main slot for a football match

never in a million years would ITV get away with that sort of kicking if fergie and united was playing
