We don't know what happened do we though? Schools need auditing the plan wasn't to make someone commit suicide and someone committing suicide hasn't got anything to do with other people most of the time.

What we don't want to do is give schools better write ups when they don't deserve it surely?

Agreed, we don’t know the ins and outs of what happened but what we do know is the Coroner has said that the Ofsted report has contributed to her death. Lacked fairness, respect and sensitivity" and was at times "rude and intimidating, is what the Coroner has stated. I was always advised that criticism should be constructive. By the Coroners account it doesn’t sound it was.

I hear you, but until I see what was said I see this as an unfortunate set of circumstances in which a woman committed suicide.

If someone breaks up with someone and then that someone commits suicide then it would be grossly unfair to take too much notice of a coroner stating that the rejection was cruel and had a causative effect on the outcome which was suicide suicide.

The world turns on however and the absolute main focus should be and always be how do schools headteachers and teachers deal with bullying, a perennial question that never seems to get answered.

That was actually the reason I came to the thread but then got sidetracked. Ofsted absolutely unfit for purpose imo, mind you it depends on what the purpose is of course.

Luckily, as soon as it started, I stood up for myself and stopped it. Going back years, my family, has had its fair share of being on the receiving end of bullying and now the young ones seem to film it on their phones.
Whoever can bring the solution on how to deal with bullying it will be worth their weight in gold because as sure as eggs is eggs, it will always go on. Their will always be a child or youth who has it in them to cause trouble.

Rightly or wrongly I took a zero policy on any of my children being bullied, and genuinely reprimanded my children if I got a whiff that they were responsible.

Now they all hate bullies with a passion and call the cunts out, must have been terrible for you to put up with shit like that.

Coroner says Ofsted contributed to the tragic death of Ruth Perry. But no apology by Martyn Oliver the new head of Ofsted. Just the usual lessons will be learned.

It used to be £250 a day plus expenses per inspector a good few years ago
