It is a tragic story. Why should someone be put under that much pressure, indeed, so much pressure that the only way out was to take her own life?Tragic story that.

Agreed, we don’t know the ins and outs of what happened but what we do know is the Coroner has said that the Ofsted report has contributed to her death. Lacked fairness, respect and sensitivity" and was at times "rude and intimidating, is what the Coroner has stated. I was always advised that criticism should be constructive. By the Coroners account it doesn’t sound it was.We don't know what happened do we though? Schools need auditing the plan wasn't to make someone commit suicide and someone committing suicide hasn't got anything to do with other people most of the time.
What we don't want to do is give schools better write ups when they don't deserve it surely?

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that score. I detest bullying of any kind. I’ve been on the receiving end of it when I was a girl twice in school and once out of school. Luckily, as soon as it started, I stood up for myself and stopped it. Going back years, my family, has had its fair share of being on the receiving end of bullying and now the young ones seem to film it on their phones.I hear you, but until I see what was said I see this as an unfortunate set of circumstances in which a woman committed suicide.
If someone breaks up with someone and then that someone commits suicide then it would be grossly unfair to take too much notice of a coroner stating that the rejection was cruel and had a causative affect on the outcome which was suicide suicide.
The world turns on however and the absolute main focus should be and always be how do schools headteachers and teachers deal with bullying, a perennial question that never seems to get answered.

Whoever can bring the solution on how to deal with bullying it will be worth their weight in gold because as sure as eggs is eggs, it will always go on. Their will always be a child or youth who has it in them to cause trouble.
It used to be £250 a day plus expenses per inspector a good few years agoThat was actually the reason I came to the thread but then got sidetracked. Ofsted absolutely unfit for purpose imo, mind you it depends on what the purpose is of course.
