Well said mate. Some of these blatant nonces need hunting down.
I got quite lucky in school. My dad decided to send me to a state school in a posh area away from the bad estate my mum grew up on, I can understand why. Never really fitted in with most of the kids. Especially as most my mates I played footy with left at 16 and I was one of the only kids in the year who got EMA payments (not sure if this is still a thing). Stood out a mile so just started skiving all my lessons and smoking and drinking, gone by 17.
Lucky in terms of bullying, but from knee high I'd always been taught to hit back x10 harder and never show you're afraid, even if you are. Something I've carried into adult life and what I'll teach my kids if I ever have them. Couple of isolated incidents with bigger kids but a left hook round the jaw or left roundhouse round the ribs did the trick; wasn't big enough to cause real damage but you know that look someone gives you when you've walloped them and they've never been hit like that before; no problems since. Always send your kids to boxing or kickboxing while they are still primary school age would be my advice, you learn discipline, how to punch above your weight, and to only use it when required.
The worst I had was my older brother was a bit of a gobshite and wouldn't be told anything by the teachers. So the first few weeks of a new year I'd get the "we've got our eye on you, you're his brother". They realised I was the nicer kid with the brains soon enough, but 2 or 3 teachers in particular were total twats for a while until they realised I was a softer more articulate kid. One in particular kept sending me out of his lessons accusing me of doing stuff I'd not done, he apologised after about a month of this targeting. A few in that school (not him) have previously and since lost jobs over inappropriate pupil relationships with young girls.
