All this talk of us smashing the rags is worrying me

I can think of 3 games this season where we said we gonna win no doubt, bad mouthing the opposistion and we lost

Everton
Hull
Rags CC 2nd leg

All this talk of yeah we gonna end there title hopes and smash them 4-1, 4-0, 72-0

Lets just think for a second here, this match is now as important to them as us for the first time in a while. We playing well, best i have really ever seen, but they still have feguscum and the ref love in going on and despite what people are saying they have not suddenly become a bad team and wooney is back

I just think we need to be a bit more realistic

no tin hat required for me. As fans we just need to get behind the lads for 100mins of football and do all we can to get the 3 points.

ha ha ha 100 minutes....funny as fook!

At last someone bringing a reality check to the Derby. We have scored 11 goals in our last two games but I studied each one of these goals on tape and every one of them had an element of luck about them. Deflection, defender slips, mishit shot, Viera closing his eyes as he headed it etc etc. We are still a long way off being a formidable force going forward. My dad videotaped the 1969 cup final for me all those years ago and as I watched it again the other night I realised that we need someone like Neil Young again. But I live in hope of a win .

0-0 dire draw. Will be the least watchable game of ours all season but a point will be an ok result.

need to keep this thread alive till derby game

a reminder to everyone.....

- wont be an easy game
- we are getting ahead of ourselves abit
- quit talking about winning this game and posting perdictions
- nothing won till final whistle
- expect the worse to happen
- the referee may have his own betting interest in this game
- hence could go either way

Don't talk shite, everyone had an element of luck? You try heading a ball without closing your eyes.

This is what pisses me off about our so called fans. Where's the winning mentality? We have a manger who is prepared to change things, has brought a defensive quality to the back four, with players he didn't buy. Has the team more tactically aware and we're playing some of the best football in years.
Luck? My arse.
