I've always liked the original Star Trek, not really got into modern Trek beyond DS9. Last night I saw this... no dialogue, don't know what the context is or anything about it. I only know it contains more heart in a few minutes than the last 20-odd years of Star Trek...

That’s on BBC4 tonight.

I thought that but the one on BBC 4/ iPlayer is the TV version from 1953 with Peter Cushing, this one's a film version from 1956, starring Edmond o' Brien. Noticed Patrick Allen is in a minor role, for me the voice of Barratt Homes, and spookily enough Protect and Survive!

wolfgirl danielle dax stole the show for me,
although i would say that...
met her on the set of a tv programme called "the tube".
friends of mine were performing on the same day she was.
we became, erm, brief friends.
