Do you actually need him for the CL quota or do you have enough?

Think we have more than enough without him.

Hart
Wright
Milner
Lescott
Clichy
Barry
Richards
Rodwell

& youths.
That is just enough

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

I thought in the Chumps League you had to have at least 4 City Academy players and 4 English/Welsh Academy players.

City Academy

01 Richards
02
03
04

English/Welsh Academy

05 Clichy
06 Hart
07 Wright
08 Barry
09 Rodwell
10 Lescott
11 Milner
12 Sinclair

Foreign Academy

13 Nastashic
14 Kolerov
15 Kompany
16 Zabeleta
17 Ferandinio
18 Nevas
19 Nasri
20 Garcia
21 Silva
22 Toure
23 Dzeko
24 Negredo
25 Jovetic

Surplus and somehow they have to be included ie by other players being left out (Sinclair straight up can be one of these)

26 Aguero
27 Pantillimon

B List As many as we like this includes

Guidetti
Razak

For the premier league the rules are a little more forgiving which means we must have at least 8 English/Welsh academy players

English/Welsh Academy

01 Richards
02 Rodwell
03 Lescott
04 Milner
05 Clichy
06 Hart
07 Wright
08 Barry
09 Sinclair

Foreign Academy

10 Aguero
11 Pantillimon
12 Jovetic
13 Nastashic
14 Kolerov
15 Kompany
16 Zabeleta
17 Ferandinio
18 Nevas
19 Nasri
20 Garcia
21 Silva
22 Toure
23 Dzeko
24 Negredo
25

B List As many as we like this includes

Guidetti
Razak

For the Premier league squad we still have room for another player.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Fuck sake, is he still here?

All the same, I feel sorry for him and gutted it didn't work out. Nothing against the player, but he must have been even more shocked than we were when Marwood made an approach for him, so he can't be blamed for wanting a shot at another Champions League club.

He was never of the standard to make us progress, hopefully he'll find his level and carve out a decent career for himself.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Really wanted him to do well but with the limited chances last season and for were we are going i think he's a small fish in a big pond now.

Good luck to him.

Stewart Downings up for grabs

Are you blaming Marwood for his purchase?

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Making way for Bale, lol. Now if Nasri and Barry were also going, then I
could believe the bit about Bale. I think West Brom is Sinclair's destination.

Who said anything about blame? Marwood was widely acknowledged as the person who conducted our transfers last season.

Stop trying to cause an argument where there isn't one dude......

-- Tue Aug 06, 2013 9:23 am --

Scott Sinclair to sign for Baggies this week

West Bromwich Albion hope to complete the loan signing of Scott Sinclair later this week.

I understand a proposal for the Baggies to take the 24-year-old on a season-long spell from Manchester City has been given the thumbs up by the Etihad Stadium club.

The remaining issue will be to sort out personal terms, which shouldn’t pose any major issues.

If all goes to plan, the deal could be signed off by the end of the week.

Sinclair, should he join, would fill the void created by the departure of Jerome Thomas.

With Zoltan Gera still out injured - he hasn’t yet re-signed for the club either - the Baggies have few ‘wide’ attacking options.

Albion were yesterday linked with a move for Jermain Defoe, but that is seemingly a non-starter.

The Baggies also looked into the feasibility of entering the battle for Loic Remy’s signature but opted against pursuing him.

The Queens Park Rangers striker is expected to join Newcastle on loan.

As reported in the Birmingham Mail 10 days ago, Albion have had a bid accepted by Lille for Salomon Kalou - the Frenchman is in the process of deciding his future.

A loan is a poor decision, would be better to keep him as squad filler.

Why? He's of no use to us whatsoever

Loan ain't the end of the world cos he might actually get a game for an average team. We're obviously not gonna get anything for him after him doing nothing for us last season and clearly being found out to be way, way, way out of his depth. Hopefully he can look half decent in another average team and we might get half our money back if we're lucky

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

another 30/40 grand off the wage bill, better than a poke in the eye I suppose.

And what if west Brom have a shit season and Sinclair looks dog shit ? if we bring him on against shit teams we're mullering he might contribute something which we can then pass off as talent !

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Hopefully there is a loan fee involved so that when we do sell him, we actually make a profit. Say a £1million loan fee this year then £6million (or more if he has a good season) permanent next summer. Loaning out players for fees isn't a bad idea if they have long contracts as long as the destination club pays his full wages.
