Scott Sinclair

Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

I know wingers have been on everyone's mind recently and talks of Isco, Navas linked to us.

It is also known Pellegrini likes his wingers do you think he will give Sinclair a go at city.
Was never really given a go to be fair and would probably flourish under Pellegrini.
He is after all a pacy winger who scores goals ( well he did for Swansea ). Not Saying he is better than Isco or Navas just saying do you think he will get another chance???

Re: Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

if Navas comes, Sinclair is at best a sub or starter against teams from 2nd/3rd division in cups. Most likely gonna be loaned out though.

Re: Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

With Pellegrini's team management I would expect Sinclair to get a run of games and see a massive improvement in him...

Re: Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

I can't see it. Realistically, how quickly can you come back to proffessional sport after having a rib removed ?

Re: Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

Possibly, he might at least come on off the bench more often.

Re: Will Pellegrini give Scott Sinclair a chance??

In the nicest possible way I hope not because it will mean we have missed out on our targets over the summer. We have lacked width all season and yet still he was not utilised, which suggests the coaching staff had little faith in him. I doubt Pellegrini's opinion will differ significantly from the previous manager.

A brief look on the La Liga shows that Navas got a mere 6 assists last season and Isco was not even on the list. Although the strikers have been blamed for a lack of goals the midfield has been absolutely woeful in terms of goal scoring for a top side. This also needs to be addressed in the summer because inevitably the strikers will have an off day and we will require an input from elsewhere in the side. Isco got nine last year which is encouraging, although not that impressive if he played off the striker.

In pre-season you'd think he'd be given the chance to impress and show his worth/use to the squad. If not reckon he won't be here after transfer window.

Hopefully when fit(speedy recovery...)and with fresh expansive tactics,he can become a useful squad player in the way he should have been utilised last season.

He has had a rib removed, he ain't going to see pre season, the info was he was out for 3 months before he could start training again, earliest you will see him is probably a COC or not until Christmas (if not been loaned out by then)
