Scott Sinclair

for all the sniping being done the lad is pl standard just.but it does say something about out exit strategy there doesn't seem to be one how many have left with no sell on clauses or initial low buy pay on the never never there is going to be a lot of youth that is in the same boat. more needs to be done for the players and club

Give him a chance and there is a possibility that clubs will want to take a gamble in January.

Give him a chance and their is a possibility he might get us six or seven goals in another successful season for City.

Early rounds of both cup competitions or coming on as a sub midway through the second half when we are already 3 or 4 up against QPR or Burnley or United. It's all we got from Jovetic and Tevez in our two Title winning seasons, and yes I know he isn't good enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as those two players but Mr P will have to work with what he's got. You can say the same for Guidetti if he doesn't get the now very dodgy move to Celtic.

He is still here and we have had literally loads worse than this lad. Lets support him.
So the first and third against Norwich came when we were three or four up did they? And we were three or four up against Chelsea when Tevez played in Nasri for the winner I suppose.
And he got a goal against West Brom when we were two up not three or four up.
Is it easy getting so much wrong?

No takers then.

Still another two years of his contract left. I suppose every club has signings they wished they hadn't made. He's ours i guess

Don't get the hate to be honest.

I wouldn't mind him coming on now and then with twenty minutes to go if the game was already won, and the odd cup appearance.

Granted, he is probably in the bottom 5 players in our squad but he is still good enough to be used and possibly he might surprise us........or if not, he shouldn't be a liability if played in the right situations.

As someone already said, he might prove that he is at least still a capable premiership player thus making it easier to sell in the next rptransfer window IF we still want too.
How many times have that shower across town sold a poor player for a few million just because he had scored a goal for Utd?!? (Obertan & Chadwick spring to mind).

I think he is in the bottom 2 if im honest. I know what you're saying but who would he replace on the sub bench?

Definitely in the bottom two. I'd only put Boyata below him.

Stuck in transfer limbo after failing to secure a move away from the Etihad, Scott Sinclair could be granted a January reprieve – but only if he is willing to act as the makeweight in any deal for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a shock mid-season transfer target for the Citizens, with the club keen to recruit another forward following the last-minute departure of Alvaro Negredo to Valencia.

Rodriguez is currently recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, an injury that saw him miss out on featuring at the World Cup for England, but he has nevertheless been the subject of some speculation regarding his future.

Tottenham are thought to be keen on signing the former Burnley striker, with Lilywhites manager Mauricio Pochettino keen to reunite with the forward who thrived under the Argentine last term.

Valued at around £15m by his south coast employers, Rodriguez scored 15 goals in 33 Premier League outings for the Saints last term.

Spurs could face some competition for his services though with City also keen on a deal for the forward.

And the Citizens may have a bargaining chip up their sleeve in Scott Sinclair.

The 25-year-old has made no secret of his desire to play more first-team football in the Premier League and Southampton could be the perfect club for the ex-Swansea star to rediscover his form and earn an England recall.

Ronald Koeman is thought to be on the lookout for high-quality midfield reinforcements and having failed in a bid to bring Andros Townsend to the club, a move for Sinclair could be a possibility
