I don't have the same level of hostility towards Hibs (or Hearts, for that matter) that I do for the bigoted brothers in Glasgow. Although I do believe that Edinburgh was nearly as sectarian way back when as parts of Glasgow still are. And the Proclaimers are alright, I suppose. Sunshine in Leith is one of their better songs though, and that was a particularly stirring rendition at Hampden yesterday.
 
No sectarians in Leith last night nor tonight (bus parade with a decent turnout). Just people partying after a great win.

Meanwhile the sectarian twunts in blue have put out an even more barmy statement slagging off not just Hibs but the SFA, Nicola Sturgeon and the BBC among others. Strangely no mention of sectarian chants, smoke bombs or violence by their 'fans' though.

I loved that match yesterday. Worked seven years in Edinburgh and met lots of great Hibs and Hearts fans, many who also followed City in our dark days. If anyone deserves success it's the Hibs supporters. Shame about the trouble but at least it wasn't a plastic occasion like our Cup Final packed with corporates on the middle tier at Wembley.
