Jim McLean will be turning in his grave. Tangerines in homage to Dutch ‘total football’ have been utterly spanked by a Dutch team. The tangerine shirt that from 1972/73 brought United so much success. Humbled in Holland…..
Thing is, where are the likes of Sturrock, Milne, Narey, Hegarty, Gallacher, Big Dunc to be found these days?

Celtic’s record defeat in Europe under threat here of being usurped.
Barcelona 7 Gallowgate Gallacticos 0
Malmo 7 Embra Spoonburners 0
AZ 7 Dumdee Ushited 0

That lady Dundee United fan that they kept zooming in on was brilliant……not that difficult to lip read what she was shouting!!!
The club should refund every single Dundee United fan that made the trip to support the team.
Only two thirds the money. For the first thirty mins the Scots were still in the tie! I've never seen a game slip away so quickly and so decisivly.

In Nigeria the term "Dundee United" is slang for a set of idiots. This is true. There's a BBC article on how it came about. "Dundee" by itself means one fool, the full name means a whole group of them.

Lol.
Hope they do not turn up on Sunday.
Getting the wee team all excited it could have been eight.lol

I turned on BBC Scotland on the radio for 5 minutes on the way home earlier. Fair play to them for making the game sound exciting and not predictable, miserable, mundane pish. Glad they 2 have a huge UCL cash injection incoming, that'll help this league.

As for Jack Ross, it's criminal that he's still managing at this level. He had a good 6 months with St Mirren when they won the championship, other than that an utter fraud of a manager. A few teams will get battered by Rangers and Celtic this season but a 0-9 at home shortly after a 7-0 away is outrageous, can't see him surviving past tomorrow.

Who next for them? McInnes? McKay? O'Neil?

I thought that was inevitable. They can’t afford to go down. Who will they pick? Who cares?

Sixty years now since the Hearts won the League Cup, ironically against Kilmarnock and by the very same scoreline.

10 years since Killie managed to win it...and with a home tie against Dundee Utd in the QF there's a decent chance of a first Hampden trip since.

Hearts got really unlucky with a couple of injuries on Sunday which wouldn't have helped their case tonight, but then that was a heavily rotated killie team at least in front of the defence.
