Watched the highlights last night.
How did that Rangers player miss that open goal.
Falkirk had one just as bad in the other semi final as well.
When the ball came back off the post, I shouted, you’re gonny miss it ya fanny.

Until that moment I didn’t know I was psychic.

Not all Scottish football is uncompetitive and predictable. There can be few leagues anywhere in the world where every fixture in the final round is actually meaningful. The denouement of the Scottish Championship is tonight:

  • Arbroath v Hamilton Academical (either could face automatic relegation or be in relegation play off)
  • Cove Rangers v Greenock Morton (Cove could be relegated and Morton could get into promotion playoffs)
  • Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Ayr United (a win for ICT could see them leapfrog Ayr into the playoffs)
  • Queen's Park v Dundee (winner automatically promoted)
  • Raith Rovers v Partick Thistle (a Raith win could see Partick miss out on the playoffs if either of Ayr or ICT and Morton win)

Unless I’m wrong, the only side whose fate appears to be unaffected is that of Raith Rovers.

That’s a tremendous end to a season.

Hopefully Hamilton go down, OK service station but shit football pitch, who doesn’t love Arbroath smokies.
Hopefully Cove stay up
Hopefully ICT win
Hopefully Queens Park win, nowt against Dundee though but new team in Prem

I want Queens Park to win but get the feeling the way they have played recently they know they will never survive in the SPL before a ball is kicked.
The new Gretna who were woeful despite getting to a Scottish Cup final and taking it to penalties the season before.
Dundee will have to get their act together sometime.
Being a yoyo club is doing nothing for their existence.
