Yep time for taxi for Robson

I don’t mind a manager making mistakes if he learns from them, but Barry clearly doesn’t, pissing about with 3 at the back all season which clearly doesn’t work. He seems to be the only person in the universe that can’t see it. He is wasting away young midfield talent talent like Connor Barron and Leighton Clarkson. If it wasn’t for Miovski we would be bottom. Trouble is that Colgate Dave the chairman’s ego will not at the moment give Robson the heave-ho. And who would we get as manager? Neil Lennon? FFS!!!
If only you could attract a manager like Derek McInnes…..

Right now I would welcome him back with open arms. At the time Colgate Dave got rid of him, that’s fine if you’ve got adequate replacements lined up, but he gave it to his son‘s bestie Stephen Glass and it’s been downhill at a rapid rate since then. Robson should be sacked but Cormack seems incapable of appointing a decent manager.

You’re not going to like my tuppence worth but here it is anyway.

At the moment the Aberdeen job is a bit of a poisoned chalice. McInnes was doing a very decent job League wise and got to the odd cup final. His failure to win cups was always held against him and I feel some in the Aberdeen support were waiting to pounce as he’s a Rangers man. His style of football isn’t great on the eye but he gets the best out of players and knows how to operate on limited budget.

Know little of Stephen Glass but I did like Goodwin at St Mirren. TBH I was surprised he left but never saw the shitstorm that ensued coming. He looked a broken man after he left Aberdeen.

I was never a huge fan of Barry Robson as a player. I’m probably a tad biased against him from those days but I’m not surprised to see him struggling. Aberdeen need a manager with experience and used to working on limited budget. There are a few decent players there such as Miovski , Stokler, McGrath and even Duk is decent but isn’t guaranteed a start. There’s a couple of big lads at the back but I’m fucked if I’m going to attempt spelling their names.

I don’t know who’s out there or the budget but surely there is better than Robson? I was going to suggest Ian Murray at Raith Rovers but he’s ex Rangers AND Hibs hahaha

Something has to change and mows the time to do it

No you make some valid points, but Dons fans generally don’t care where a manager comes from, as after all who did Alex Ferguson used to play for and as a Dons fan who watched Aberdeen home and way during his reign there was no complaints from me or anybody else for that matter. Watching the Dons regularly for nearly 50 years I also thought Billy McNeil was one of our best ever managers. We do need an experienced manager, some over excited fans are wanting ex- Forest manager Steve Cooper but absolutely no chance of that happening, but I can’t see anyone to help us. There’s a cancer deep rooted in the club from top to bottom and only a root and branch cleansing will suffice in my eyes.

The amount of rain related fixture postponements becoming a complete joke for our top league. Those lovely, usually taken in August, pictures of perfect grass pitches you see splashed everywhere as a stick to beat artificial with posted missing. Heard someone say that even Celtic Park was in a bit of a state.

Celtic park pitch was poor.

I watched a very interesting podcast with Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes.
