Just seeing the decision today, an obvious penalty which should have been awarded.

But it's all we've heard and read about for days since it happened. Compare and contrast to the penalty at Hampden which Aberdeen weren't awarded against Rangers or Killie against Celtic the year before. VAR was around then too. Can't remember such an outcry and demands for sackings etc.

As usual a much bigger deal being made when it involves one of the old firm gaining and the other losing out of a poor decision. I'm sure they'll more than make up for it with some very dubious awards of free kicks, bookings, corners and soft penalties where they can - such is the pressure they're put under.
What penalty for Aberdeen?

No. I’m genuinely asking so I can have a look at it.

Just watched highlights of the final v Aberdeen from last season and guess what? McAusland scores to put Rangers ahead but Don Robertson blows for a non foul seconds before. Attacking phase should be played out before he whistles. Cheated again ; )

I can remember the Killie one. West stand end at Hampden and Celtic player goes through the back of Killie forward. Collum has clear view but doesn’t give it. Possibly the season before VAR in Scotland

Last minute obvious foul from Butland on Aberdeen attacker, dismissed after a 4 second VAR review.

Killie game had VAR.

Nope. No idea what ‘obvious foul’ your talking about but as I said there was an actual protocol error by Don Robertson in Rangers v Aberdeen game and nothing said

‘Obvious fouls’ are subjective which is wholly different from factual errors

Yep. I checked and there was VAR for that Killie game. If I remember correctly Collum claimed to have clear view of incident. Then again he had a clear view of Alistair Johnstone punching the ball but missed it.

ETA. Please tell me you are not talking about the goal mouth scramble.

Another Scottish football game and I hate to say it but again overshadowed by just the most awful officiating imaginable.

Killie should have had a penalty, debatably. The red card for Motherwell is just a ridiculous decision and not even debatable. The fact the referee was called to the VAR monitor and every single person alive was certain he would ovetturn his decision only for him to inexplicably stick by it is laughable.

Yep quite correct Ayrshire Blue. In last minute of last seasons league cup final after Aberdeen had a corner Duk was taken out by Butland as he was about to shoot. Also handball by Rangers defender in first half, which TV cameras highlighted in slow motion later but somehow no interest from VAR. In Aberdeen fan forums videos of both incidents were doing the rounds after cup final. Pretty sure VAR would have been interested if these incidents had they happened in other penalty box.

Laughable. If anything Duk just falls into Butland. The only pundit that said it needed looking at was Michael Stewart. Also these are subjective decisions

ETA. How could Duk be about to shoot facing away from goal??? : ))))))

And your thoughts on Don Robertson blowing for non foul as McAusland is scoring in same game? This goes against VAR protocol

Dan Casey’s Red card is embarrassing and what’s more embarrassing if Referee sticks by decision even after VAR tell him to have another look

Dreadful decision that will be appealed.

This is the same Dan Casey that escaped a Red Card for horrible challenge on young McAusland that led to him needing crutches that night
