Historical precedent says this is rubbish

Only one election, that of 1964 would have had a different outcome if Scottish MPs were not included, it would have meant a Tory majority of 1

The 2nd election of 1974 would have seen a Labour minority government rather than a majority government.

The other election where it would have counted is the 2010 election which would have meant a Tory majority rather than the Tory/Lib Dem coalition.
