We don't need an independance referendum, but what should have happened when scotland and wales were devolved was an English parliament set up and then westminster closed and governance re-aligned within the UK into a federation of independant states with a general council.


If scotland wishes to leave the union so be it, I would give the cornish thier independance too if they wan it.

I see Queen Nicola wants a new independence referendum in exchange for backing the government in any Brexit vote.

If they do achieve independence then the Labour Party can forget about ever forming another Government.

It wasn't though, she wouldn’t back any government in a Brexit vote unless it was to revoke, or have a referendum . What she said was if Labour wanted an alliance in government after an election then a second independence vote when requested would be a condition. Labour may not even ask them they might ask the Liberals though they would probably want Corbyn gone.
