Scottish Premiership Thread | 2025/26

The ref should’ve shown some bollocks and abandoned the game at the end when the Celtic fans invaded the pitch, there was still time to play.
Scottish football is the shits.

Have a budget which dwarfs all their rivals I would guess and they benefitted from some rather contentious decisions in the run in.

All sound tracked by the most bias co commentator on tv.

Yes, Scottish football lost despite every man and his dog watching the game despite nobody giving a fuck...
I think people watched it hoping for a different winner and a little bit of history, not one of the same old boring 2 winning it yet again.

Scottish football has been interesting this season because Hearts could have won it against all the odds, but sadly, the bully came along and kicked over there lovely sand castle.

annoyed hearts didn’t win that. The old rag fart is still last manager from a non old firm team to win it

Hearts had a great season but without Russell Martin at Rangers and Nancy at Celtic, the title race doesn't include Hearts in my opinion

Why was every man and their dog watching this time around as opposed to every other season? People were watching because a non old firm team was in for a chance. That in and of itself broke the norm let alone a non old firm team actually winning it. Had this been the ususal cake walk season for celtic, considerably less people would be tuning in. Like it had proven to be the case year after year.

I don't follow Scottish football as a rule, but I got caught up in the potential magic of this season, a lot of neutrals I know were the same, only to see the usual suspects (one of the OF) win it, as per usual .

If you're a Celtic fan, enjoy your day, I'm just a little saddened by it.

True but sure if Hearts had won, would that have changed people's opinion on next season and how it would ultimately go? More than likely not.

In terms of viewership and the like, this season regardless of how it ended was beneficial in that regard so I don't get the view on how their football has "lost" going forward, it'll be same old same old next season either way

Really hope Hearts don’t let up about those penalty decisions at Motherwell (Celtic one including obviously). They and any hope of competitiveness of Scottish football have been royally shafted and it’s 100% been by design thanks to the SFA.

I don’t have a horse in the race, but gutted for Hearts here. What went on last match with Celtic, complete mockery. Tainted title really, this one. How good would it have been to see a club outside Glasgow win the title …
If there had been no fkn Nancyboy Celric would have won that title easily

Think Scottish Football would benefit from a playoffs. Unless they're willing to do something about the wage bills, it'll never be resolved.
