just had a look, says as above the Berkeley looks like the most ideal place for us.

Chips only £1 in the ground and they do bacon butties! wow lol

Three suggestions on this thread.

Four of us heading for the blue bell (weatherspoons) on oswald road.

We're travelling with a Scunthorpe fan who my mate knows from work. This is what he's told us....

There is parking at the Ground for a couple of quid but another option is parking in the car park where there is Pizza Hut, Frankie and Benny's and the Farmhouse Pub. This is probably the best option for a drink before hand, but don't be too obvious with your colours. Wherever you park it's always going to be a bit of a nightmare getting out, but once out of the ground you're on the motorway again

live not too far from Glanford park , a very grey place ...
ground is at the edge of town ,just as you come off the M180
just opposite a giant tesco`s - parking is shite around the ground

100 yards from the ground theres a frankie and bennys ,pizza hut, mcd`s, kfc , travelodge and a whacky warehouse
pub that s pretty good serves good food no colours allowed on matchdays ,

train station is a taxi ride away , (if you can get one !) from the ground a good 30 minutes walk.
the Witherspoons is well a witherspoons but its a good 20/30 mins from ground, granted it is downhill ........

the Berkley is straight up from the ground, 5 mins walk and is a much better bet if they allow you in?

for thoose arriving early ,come off the m180 a junction early, signposted A161 gainsborough , keep straigh on
and about 5 mins from the motorway ,if that, is the Steer Inn great food good food , parking no problem
probably take you 15/20 mins drive from there to the ground and park up ;post code is DN9 1NR

son`s won mascot competition so we have to be there early otherwise it would be the Steers for me!

Anyone need any local info etc just ask..

cheers
