Season is Over Already

What, no mention of the double, the treble, or the idea that they've pointing their sticky mitts towards the presidency of a nameless republic in deepest Africa? Once that one's in the bag, they'll have sealed the African Nations Cup for the next twenty years, too. Best-dressed employee on the Singapore stock exchange? Cumberland gurning contest? Cheese-rolling? There are masses of cups there for the taking. Why let them stop at football?

utd are balls out currently knowing we are on their coat tails.
there is no way imo they can keep it up, chelski could and should have had points yesterday.

let the media have their say the fear is there for all to see.

The league is gone, we wont make it out of our Champions League group after drawing at home to the pot 4 team, and we will be knocked out of the Carling Cup on Wednesday after Balotelli gets sent off in the 5th minute.

All we have left is the FA Cup.

5 games in and the season is over!? Have faith, united will slip up eventually, dont beleive the media hype over them! The media constantly dig at City (or am I paranoid?) Radio 5 is one of the worst offenders, always putting united on live, where City matches are mentioned when theres a goal. City only have to match united and win the 2 derbies and they'll be champions!

Well if our season is over and the coveted prize goes to the rags - there is nobody more suprised about it than Bacon face himself.

I watched his reaction to Nani's goal on MOTD, and He had a look of absolute disbelief. At first I wasn't sure whether it was his ticker that gave up the ghost on him, then it became clear he just couldn't believe his luck.

Strange really for a manager revered by so many for his man-mangement-skills and his unquestionable faith in his team. At least Macini always expects the best from his players!

Yeah, we're doomed ...

- it's almost mathematically impossible already ...

... might as well throw the towel in now.

I recall 1967-68 when City trailed United by around 9 to 10 points (if I remember correctly) after Christmas.

People thought it was all over then (especially on 2 points for a win).

Not Mal Allison who declared that United were rubbish and City would win the title. He was proved right on both counts.
