I am not sure you are correct here.
Wembley have their own corporate ticket holders who can take tickets for any match at the stadium.
Then there are all the various companies who advertise at Wembley or sponsor the cup etc.
There is a pecking order at these games and unfortunately some regular fans will be too low down it.
Yeah like i said i just thought that each club would get so many corporate tickets as well as the supporter allocation. Dont think theres a huge corporate contingent at city anyway, so reckon there should be enough for all season ticket holders.
Again, I hope you're right for my lad's sake but i don't think so.
Looking at the seat plan posted by bladdered - all the seats in grey are owned by Club Wembley. That has nothing to do with city or uniteds corporate people. These are people/firms who have paid for the privalege to attend any Wembley fixture.
After the club wembley tickets there are also the various sponsors, advertisers, local FA's etc. Then there is city and uniteds corporate. You say not many, but how many do you think will be taken by Thomas Cook, Etihaad, Ferrostaal, aabar, Malmaison, Heineken, Jaguar etc (all official Club sponsors - look in the programme) . All the smaller firms who have boxes at city will want tickets. Plus all those who have tickets where a meal is involved.
Then add to this the same for united's corporate.
I bet only about 20,000 will filter to 'normal' season ticket holders like us.
I know it sucks - most of these pricks were not at the game yesterday, never mind York away in Dec 98. But they all come out of the woodwork for big games, and it doesnt get much bigger.
