Season Tickets - 2023/24

Let’s not let the club ruin the end of the season, we need to be TOGETHER for the run-in.

But maybe we should do a banner for the start of next season.

‘WE ARE HERE FOR OUR LOVE OF THIS CLUB, NOT YOUR BALANCE SHEETS AND PAYRISES. STOP THE PRICE HIKES!’

And hold it up at the bottom of SSL1 for an entire game (if people’s arms can handle it!).
I really hate the thought of giving the media more to hit us with. They will love it if they can report that the fans have turned agains the club despite its success and fantastic team. The loyalty of fans was the only thing they couldn't use to attack the club with. We're not the rags wearing green and gold scarves and holding up banners against owner - theirs deserve it but ours don't.

Yeah we get it mate you can afford it and are doing well

Mate you have seriously posted that your seat has gone up £35 a year and you have a decision to make and then start spouting abuse? That’s 3.5 hours work over a year on minimum wage? 3.5 hours!!! To witness all this. I am sure you waste £35 a year on some other pleasures.

Why am I? It’s not compulsory. What else can you do these days that costs £30 to £40 quid and gives you this much drama and entertainment.
The point is....if City froze the prices (I think they should drop them) they would be less than £2m worse off. Do City need that revenue? The answer is clearly no. So we have the situation where City don't need the cash but choose to milk as much as they can. Ethically that's not the action of a club. I totally accept it is the action of a business with an inelastic product though.

Obviously nobody is forced to pay it. My disgust is that it's a totally unnecessary price increase. From a value perspective, that's just an individual choice. They don't want fans though. Just supporters.

SS L3 £385 that started at £300 7 years ago so nearly a 30% increase! Still only £20 a game to see the champions play brilliant football, but the other prices are getting a bit silly now. I wonder if the nee north stand will be cheap?
Unfortunately the parking will be the issue it took me until 1140pm on Wednesday on the bus I only live 7 miles away !

Your last line is not true at all in my opinion.

So what?

I’m not here for the quality of football or the trophies, I’m here because City are my club.

If we are found guilty of all our charges and have to start 2024-25 in League One, I’ll be there in exactly the same way as I am now.

But it’s more about the cheek of them doing this:

And then telling me that they want £60 more off me.

As good as our team and manager is (and the boardroom most of the time), that’s simply not up to the standards that i want this football club to be and what they like to portray themselves to be.
Wow, wondered why they had all gone before I could get one.
so the club are selling shed loads to these ticket sites for a big fat premium. There was two Arsenal fans sat in front of me in ESL2 the other night, in fairness they were good as gold but it made me wonder how they had got tickets. Then after the game loads of what seemed like tourists. Noticed that at other games, but never joined the dots. Now I have and it stinks.

You think they're gonna put the prices down if we drop off a bit after Pep? Will they fuck. Once the prices go up they will not come down regardless of if we're watching the greatest team ever or not.
This is the crux of the matter. The people defending it on the grounds of what is happening on the pitch do not see the problems that potentially lie ahead if we slip away from the top. You have to look after your fans in good times so that they are there for you in bad times.

I can afford the price rises but it saddens me that some very loyal fans are now priced out. Top quality football has never been a prerequisite for me turning up at games. Top quality football is all that keeps people going when their sense of community and belonging has disappeared. And when the top quality football disappears, what are you left with?

Don't blame City for the tories incompetence in running the country.
