Will you be able to load two membership passes to one phone and scan both?
People will need to take in kids so you better had be able to.

For reconditioned (£40 upwards usually with return guarantee)I think this is the route me and my brother are going down - are there any recommendations for cheap bobby basic burners with Google wallet?
I wasn’t totally convinced but this reply seems pretty unequivocal. My guess is that response is incorrect. Hope I’m wrong but if an email is still produced with the ticket attached then that could be sent to anyone which goes against what the club are trying to do.
I’m sure our friends at Viaggo and other ticket agent scammers will pass on the names of the people they have fleeced 0-)Spoke to a lady from the club today on the phone. She told me that whilst you can have a season ticket on 2 phones, the other person won’t be able to use it as it’s not in their name.
She said, for safety and security reasons we need to know who is in the stadium in case of an emergency, if there was an emergency and it’s not ‘you in the stadium’ but your card is used by someone else, they would be looking for you.
I said why have the rule of 2 phones the? She said it was because of carers and different parents going with children (which to me is the same thing as their name wouldn’t be on the ticket)! Correct me if I’m wrong but only one name is associated with one season ticket!?
As for flexi golds, she told me for a game to count towards the 10 to renew or the magic 16 to be able to upgrade to gold, you only have to purchase the game, the phones doesn’t have to scan in… this is interesting news as I thought it had to be scanned in. She said theoretically, you could buy 10 and not turn up to any as long as they were purchased!
Good to know. Thanks for sharing.Just rang T Office
I had not nominated anyone for ticket transfer hence missed deadline
Sorted within 5 mins
Really helpful
Utter bullshit, what about all the day trippers, they won’t have their names, anyone from City reading this your a set of twats why not come out and say you dont want us legacy fans.Spoke to a lady from the club today on the phone. I have emailed them several times saying I've a Huawei phone that doesnt support Google. They tried to fob me off until I sent them screenshots. Since then, they have referred me to 'Mobile Ticket Services' and I have heard sod all.Has anyone heard from the club ref. gaining entry to The Etihad with a non NFC smartphone ?
It's now about 8/9 days until the Spurs game, and as it stands I will be unable to get to my seat with my 15 month old phone.
I was assured by the ticket office that an alternative method of entry would be provided to those that needed it, but not heard a thing at all from them.

Cheers pal, it looks like you are in the same situation as me then.I have emailed them several times saying I've a Huawei phone that doesnt support Google. They tried to fob me off until I sent them screenshots. Since then, they have referred me to 'Mobile Ticket Services' and I have heard sod all.
You could try getting an Android smartwatch with NFC but of course it’s more money to layout.Has anyone heard from the club ref. gaining entry to The Etihad with a non NFC smartphone ?

You know what pal, that may be a very good idea. You could try getting an Android smartwatch with NFC but of course it’s more money to layout.
I can’t vouch for it though as I’ve never used one.
The turnstiles have been upgraded and they say they work with a wider range of phones so that suggests they knew that some brands/models had problems with the old ones. I guess we’ll all find out soon enough.Hang on...have we done away with barcode entry and it's now only nfc? I have nfc on my phone but never been able to get it to work at the turnstiles
At least you can work out the fatigue stress before it happens.Hang on...have we done away with barcode entry and it's now only nfc? I have nfc on my phone but never been able to get it to work at the turnstiles
The fact they had a trial week doesn't fill me with confidence. It suggests to me the club aren't convinced it's a reliable and fail safe system. The turnstiles have been upgraded and they say they work with a wider range of phones so that suggests they knew that some brands/models had problems with the old ones. I guess we’ll all find out soon enough.
