Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Couldn’t make it today. My usual F&F nominee didn’t want the ticket so I listed it on the exchange but no takers.

So this “miss” will now be classed as my fault by City. Even though I did my best.

Ended up donating it to the CITC option. The website says City now donate the cost to CITC, which I don’t get as isn’t that just the club donating money to itself?
If you listed it it doesn’t count as a total miss just a “not in person” miss

I don't like the rules but the fact is that we don’t have thousands of fans waiting for people to fall ill on the day of the game to buy cheap tickets off.

Lots of sympathy for peole who genuinely can’t make the game but the post by Daz on social media also reflects that hundreds couldn’t be arsed going.

As a fan base we need to rediscover our passion.

Didn't purchase a flexi ticket for Bournemouth due to work commitments.
Work Plans changed last Thursday and noticed the seat was still spare (as were many) so enquired about a late purchase of the flexi ticket but they wanted to charge full General Admission price as it isn't in the purchase window. No thanks, that seat remained empty.

Tickets were going for peanuts on the unofficial forums. If you didn’t want to go to the game then fair dos.

That said, I think the Club should make unsold tickets cheaper in the last 24 hours before a game, particularly in stands where there are discounted tickets returned by away clubs.

What was the difference in price out of interest? My season ticket is £900 (Gold price) so equates to £47.37 per match and the same seat yesterday was £53 full price (could have bought with my son’s matchday ticket for £48). I’m not fully au fait with FG but is it £70 up front and you get that back over 16 games, so £4.38, therefore this game would have been £42.99? £10 difference does sound a lot but I think it’s the way the system works. Perhaps if they sold at the matchday price you would have bought? Of course if it had been a supporter’s 17th to 19th game there’d be no FG discount meaning a smaller difference.

You were made aware of that in the terms and conditions of the Flexi Ticket.

Either that, or they’re purposely making it difficult for some fans to attend games for whatever reason. Either way, it needs addressing and resolving urgently.
Ignoring, for the moment, the Viagogo sell tickets to anyone debacle, switching is easy. Transferred 3 Liverpool tickets to other members while having a very nice Leek and Potato soup in the South Stand before the match. Took about 20 seconds each. One who was missing yesterday transferred it to his son, who wasn't attending either, so he's the no show and it doesn't show as a miss. That way the club knows who should be in the seat and it's all happy. The days of handing over a tenner and getting a last minute ticket anonymously are gone, we need to get over it. I've got all my mates season tickets in my friends and family and a dozen or so others that will take them if someone can't make it. I'm not a techie, but it's hardly rocket science.

Switching tickets to your nominated members, or people with a paid Cityzens membership is easy. But many people don’t fall into those categories so we end up with empty seats. The system last year was perfectly fine. There was no need to change it.

Think City are on with closing the loopholes, such as forwarding the transferred ticket email. Wouldn't surprise me to see tickets moved to a dedicated City Ticket app in the near future to prevent transferring to Customers without a Paid Matchday Membership.

We have 3 season tickets that are all in the 3 Cup schemes. My eldest son cant make tonight does that count as a no show regarding 4 strikes and your out or are cup games excluded??

The flexi is my lads ticket. His flexi price was £10 during the purchase window but purchasing outside of the window they wanted the full price of £25. So 2.5x the price. They were struggling to sell but they wanted full price. I sat next to an empty seat instead.

Just a heads up for any out of town yonners like me looking for cheap hotel deals, premier inn have a big sale on with free breakfast included for certain dates,
I’ve just booked the one at Piccadilly for jan 2-4 for a family of 4 and it cost £108. I’ve included a link from hot uk deals and some people have suggested booking single nights to get the breakfast, but I just used the web page instead of the app & it worked fine, apologies I know this is in the wrong place but not sure where to land it

Does anybody know which games are the 12 guaranteed refunds ,the web page still says will be posted once the league release the fixtures
due to work I probably cant make it to the Brighton game in January

No chance any of the midweek league games against Brighton, Fulham or Nottingham Forest will be guaranteed refunds. It's usually the ones that are easy to sell like the big 6 plus first and last game of the season.
