This time last season there was a lot of debate on here and we had fans going in late after the kick off which resulted in the club freezing season ticket prices.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but I've not seen anyone mention next seasons S/T prices.

Have there been any meetings between the club and fan groups/City Matters yet?

I think they usually announce them in April, so not too far off.

Can’t help with any clues about what’s in store but last year, details were released on 17th April.

I would expect a minimum 5% increase based on what other clubs have done and City themselves last season stating that the freeze would not be applied to future seasons

Common sense suggests there wont be a price increase as we have seen demand fall this year and we have an extra 6000 seats to fill next season.

However with the fall in demand this year the club still tries to charge the top amount regardless of this will resulting in empty seats, so I do fear the worst. Higher prices, more empty seats, diluted atmosphere/match day experience.

Prices going up, hospitality announced to those in there for renewals, and prices are up all across. Don't know what % though. Those in Joes and Kits can probably confirm - compared to their last season prices? Here are the prices being quoted for next season:

Joes Hospitality Adult Price - £2,180 per person = 19x Premier League games and 3x Domestic Cup + no food and drinks included

Kits Hospitality Adult Price - £2,394 per person = 19x Premier League games and 3x Domestic Cup + no food and drinks included

What was the price this season mate?

This is a reality unfortunately.

No, you cannot directly downgrade your full season ticket (e.g., Gold, Platinum, or 93:20) to a Flexi Gold / Flexi Season Ticket mid-season or as a simple switch.

Manchester City's official terms (as per the 2024/25 and 2025/26 Season Ticket T&Cs, which remain consistent in this regard) state that once purchased, a Season Ticket Member shall not be entitled to cancel, upgrade, or downgrade their Season Ticket, with no refunds for unattended matches (except in specific cases like postponements or behind-closed-doors scenarios). The club does not offer a formal downgrade pathway from a full commitment season ticket to the flexible Flexi model during the season.

### What happens instead in practice (based on recent reports and club communications):
- If you fail to meet the 16-match utilisation requirement for full season tickets (where you must manage/utilise at least 16 of the 19 Premier League home games via attendance, transfer, listing on Ticket Exchange, or donation), the club may downgrade your renewal offer for the following season to a Flexi Season Ticket. This has been referenced in help articles and fan discussions as a consequence of non-compliance with the new policy (introduced/strengthened around 2025/26).
- Some fans affected by policy changes, pricing, or personal circumstances (e.g., via fan group pressure or individual cases) have reported being advised or effectively moved to Flexi-Gold, especially if renewing under stricter rules. However, this is not a guaranteed or requested downgrade—it's more of a club-imposed adjustment for renewal eligibility.
- Flexi-Gold is primarily a separate product with its own eligibility (e.g., for 2026/27, new applicants need 35+ home match purchases across recent seasons). It's not positioned as a downgrade option for existing full ST holders; instead, the pathway flows the other way: high-attending Flexi members (16+ PL homes) can upgrade to full Gold/Platinum/93:20.

### Current status as of March 2026 (mid-2025/26 season):
- Renewals for 2026/27 are not yet open (typically start spring/early summer), but any changes would be announced via your City account, mancity.com/tickets, or email.
- If you're considering switching due to availability issues, costs, or the 16-match rule, the best step is to contact Fan Support directly (+44 (0)161 444 1894) or check your account for personalised renewal info. They may discuss options case-by-case, but no public policy allows a voluntary mid-season downgrade.
- Note: Flexi remains limited availability, often prioritised for juniors, Matchday Members, or those meeting loyalty thresholds.

For the most accurate personal situation, log into your Manchester City account or reach out to the club—policies can evolve slightly based on fan feedback (e.g., via City Matters), but downgrading isn't a standard feature. If your query is about renewal risks leading to Flexi, let me know more details for better guidance!

**** Manchester City's Flexi Gold Season Ticket** (often called Flexi Season Ticket or Flexi-Gold) is a flexible, pay-as-you-go alternative to a traditional full season ticket. It reserves your specific seat at the Etihad Stadium for the entire season without requiring you to attend every match. Instead, you buy tickets only for the games you want to go to.

### How it works (latest as of 2025/26 season, which is current in March 2026):
- No annual subscription fee — unlike earlier versions. You pay an upfront deposit instead:
- Adult: £120 (reduced from £150 in previous setups)
- Junior: £48 (reduced from £75)
- This deposit is refunded gradually as you buy match tickets.
- For every Premier League home match ticket you purchase:
- £7.50 is deducted from your match ticket price (adult)
- £3 for juniors
- After buying tickets for 16 home Premier League matches, you've fully earned back your entire deposit → effectively paying the same price per match as a standard Gold/Platinum/93:20 season ticket holder for those games.
- You get your dedicated seat (same as Gold-level equivalent in location/quality).
- You purchase your ticket during a dedicated Flexi sales window (typically opens ~3 weeks before each match) at the Flexi price (which incorporates the deposit refund deduction).

Pretty sure that's the same as last season. But it specifically says "no food and drink included", not sure if that's a typo but it currently includes hot drinks, soft drinks and beer/wine at halftime

Maybe but the expanded North Stand is the first opportunity in years for younger Blue families to sit together for Prem games. City’s analysis may show there is significant demand amongst these fans that might fill many of the extra seats, particularly, given the increase in season cards / flexis.

Games have taken longer to sell out this season and the Ticket Exchange has seen excessive levels of use for lower profile, guaranteed refund games, but is demand falling, except compared to the treble and following season. Maybe City Matters has the stats.

A lot of posters report that parks are full of
Kids having a kick about in City shirts. Many of these Blues haven't had regular opportunities to go to games.
