Season Tickets

For those who pay by DD on the first of the month. Are we done for this season or is the final payment on 1st May?

I expect that those tickets that don't renew will only be offered on as Silver Tickets, if the club believe they can sell the big 5 individually. In effect, with that policy, they effectively double their income compared to selling it as a full 19 match Gold ticket.

Some will say how so, and I remind them of how my wife couldn't attend the United game from 3 seasons ago and I found the ticket next to me was occupied in SS3 by some bloke who'd been sold a supposed one off corporate package for £200! For that he got a pie, pint and programme at the CFA and I got about £16 back! Based on that malarkey, you can see why the club is drifting to this Silver Ticket nonsense.

Fucking hell they saw him coming

Can someone please explain to me why I am seeing ‘advertised’ on Facebook a season card being offered for sale? I thought season cards were only sold by the club?
Am I being naïve in thinking that all the people who are on the waiting list or want to get onto the waiting list are being cheated?
This ticket is advertised as being in East level 3 but being relocated to South Stand level 2 on Monday. It is being offered for £780!
I assume it is someone who has 2 season cards somehow and is selling one on? The season card would still be in the original name I suppose?

*lol* I wish. No I follow him (I think) on Instagram. I’m registered on Instagram because my granddaughter registered me but I just look at it when they send me an email every couple of weeks and I look and there’s John Boy!! :-)

FaceBook keeps me in touch with my family and friends all round the world.

I’ve seen ST up for sale over the years with people going working away abroad etc for a year or two,so could be a legitimate reason for trying to get monies back, maybe it’s on those lines, however with what’s happened with tickets on a match day over recent weeks I’ve given up trying to second guess any ticket related issues at the moment with City !

I did think that that could be a reason for some season cards to be sold on but in this case I’ve seen a few instances of him having multiple tickets for sale. Like you I find it difficult to second guess.

I have, as I have stated on here, sold or given my ticket to other Blues this season quite a few times. However it was either to family or trusted Blues or on two occasions I’ve sold it through the Club’s own Exchange scheme. (I include that statement in case anyone thinks I’m being hypocritical in asking this question) :-). Mine was on a match by match when I wasn’t well enough to attend.

Very very premature I know.

But I would really like to get a season ticket for next season. But firstly is there a chance? I'm Citizens Matchday and have been since 2019. I go to about 10-15 games a season. All at home.

Is there anything I need to look out for to be in with a good chance?

Second question:

I usually go with someone to games. Mrs, Daughter, Mate etc... How easy is it to move seats to sit together for individual games?

Thanks!
I know you posted this a while ago but thought I'd reply anyway. Last year it was first come first served with no sales criteria, minimum ticket points, minimum attendance, etc and it sold out in 8 or 9 minutes. Year before that they did do sales criteria, starting at 1000 points, then 500, 250, then any members.
If you're going about 10-15 times a season you should've accumulated quite a few points so if they do a sales criteria like they did for 21-22 then you've got a very good chance. If they do first come first served again then make sure to get onto the website an hour before they go on sale so you've got a good place in the queue.
Last year there were people who'd got onto the site 15-20 minutes before and had still missed out because they had a few thousand ahead of them in the queue.
Club hasn't announced anything yet regarding new sales but keep an eye on the season ticket page on the website and @ManCityHelp on Twitter as details should be announced within a week.

Regarding moving seats, I think you could put your season ticket on the exchange for a game and then purchase two tickets elsewhere. The refund you get for listing your seat on the exchange is only 1/19th of your ST's cost, which is likely to be a bit less than what you'll pay for another ticket though
