In regards the DD payments (depending on the date you choose) you are basically paying a month or two in advance. They wouldn't not take it one month but yes you could get a refund for however many games you might not attend before the next payment came out if that make sense?
Not permanently. I saw the message, the point we are making is it does not answer any questions, I assume the same rules will be applied, I.e. platinum status maintained, still in cup schemes by default, and I also replied to original poster the details are expected tomorrow.It's the third heading down: "One Season Deferment". Your ticket, points and (I assume) cup schemes, etc, will be frozen for a year.
The club have said that full details will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday) so wait till then. If people haven't got answers to questions they need answering then I'll happily pick them up and City Matters will check with the club. That's what we're here for.

Last year nobody had a season card. The point of the cup schemes is that you have your own seat for home games and priority for away games. You can’t be on a cup scheme if you don’t have a season card.Very easily …because they allowed it last year
