If the vaccine passports are required your friend will need to print his out if he's not using wi-fi.Tech question. I have an oldish moto g5, just checked and it has NFC on it. Can a friend use this for his season ticket even though it doesn't have a SIM card inserted it. If it needs Wi-Fi I can always hotspot from my phone.
The £5 card would have worked really well...assuming 25-30% would have taken it up at our place it would have greatly reduced the pressure on the new system working for next season. So having a look about
Brighton fans are not happy that they have been given a mobile system with no option
Red Scouse fans have been complaining the links to the mobile tickets don't work (sets up obvious joke here).
Everton fans have taken up the pay £5 for a physical card option up in large numbers
This move has not been popular or wlecomed at the few clubs implementing it, more so as no consultation given, just it thrust upon people without options.
The complaints are similar, worry about signal, phone life, not owning a compatible phone or printer etc.
Hats off to Everton for offering a physical card option, even with the £5 charge, it has saved a lot of unecessary disgruntlement towards the club.

Interestingly the Arsenal card is a joint venture between the club, Barclays and Fortress GB.And more and more will.
I am not against it, but I do think it should have been phased in this season with notice that it will be fully rolled put next season.
Evertons idea of a choice but with a small payment for a physical card is what all clubs should have done.
I beleive arsenal are introducing a new rewards card that is a debit card and season ticket so you use it to access the ground, purchase anything in the shop/stadium/online and earn points. You then pay back like you would a credit card the purchases.
