I currently have my season ticket in Colin Bell Level 1. For 90% of home matches I also purchase a junior ticket for my son in the same block as me and he inevitably is able to sit next to me with a bit of chicanery from people around us. I’m now thinking of getting him a seaason ticket but I can’t work out how I could guarantee I could get one next to me. I know I’ll have to move, that’s a given. Is it possible to:

Buy a junior season ticket and ask to be relocated to be next to that junior’s seat? I assume I’d have to put him on the waiting list. Would I need to put my own name down on a separate waiting list?

Anyone relocated like this before and could give advice would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone any idea how long it’s likely to take - how long waiting list is, also greatly appreciated.

Cheers JT

I think you will have to purchase yours and a new one for him which might well not be together, and after that I believe there is a relocation window when you will be able to try and move the two together. Not sure how long the waiting list is right now but I would stick him on the list as soon as possible then when the oportunity comes up you will get sorted.

Try the club ?
Speak to the ticket office, explain to a real person and I'm sure they will accommodate. They certainly shouldn't separate a child from his parent.
Despite all the negatives you might read about, the ticket office does have a healthy percentage of decent staff.
I've relocated on a couple of occasions, both times weren't as straightforward as they could have been from my end but the ticket office were very helpful on both occasions.

Have been waiting 18 months now on the waiting list for my little boy.

Ticket office have already said to me that I will have to renew my own seat, then purchase his option when his eligibility window opens up, before then moving mine and probably his again (as seats together in family stand are rare)

Ridiculous, unless I want to pay an extra £300 to try and get two seats together in another part of the stadium.

Crazy shit the family stand always looks the least populated, suppose that's due to being cheap, pick & chose which games to attend.

My son was on waiting list and got to get one last season it was a case of renewing then relocating when my son was able to choose his seat

I am in a similar position with a brother who had to give up a season ticket. Emailed club and if I get a reply will let you know.

I emailed them today and got an answer...

"In order for a supporter to gain a seasoncard, they first need to be placed on the seasoncard waiting list. There is no guarantee that joining the waiting list will guarantee a seat for the upcoming season, it is purely dependent on how many people decide to renew their seasoncards as to what availability there is.

If your brother is invited to purchase a seasoncard, the process currently stands that you would then need to contact us to relocate your seats to where there are two seats together. Once again, this is subject to availability and it may be that the process differs from the last season."

So it looks like you put them on the waiting list, renew yourself, and if their name comes up you see if you can be sat together.
